I am a lady who is also one of your subscribers! I enjoy watching you work on turntables. And considering that your videos have helped me get my Pioneer PL-S30 up and running. But wow, I didn't realize how those Crosleys were made. I will stick with my Pioneer......LOL
Thanks for doing this! I realize these are rubbish, but my 12 year old bought one off Craigslist with her own money to listen to thrift store records. We're not talking hi-fi, but everyone gets started in the hobby somewhere! Hers runs slow as well, so I'll give it a go and see if I can't also get it running better. Learned a lot and found a new app I didn't know I needed! Thanks again!
The same mechanism is common to a lot of budget offerings. VWwestlife covers a lot of units that you could refer to as record players. Common mechanism is transplanted into various units and a brand name slapped on the front.
This was so helpful! My Crosley Suitcase turntable belt keeps slipping off, so I assume I need to replace it. I am just wondering what size belt to get or if it's standard? Thanks so much!

I appreciate you doing this vid mostly snark free! Most people would have been complaining the whole time!

You're a better man than me for fixing this. I would have just thrown it in the bin.

Great that you fixed it for someone, no judgements, just a kind gesture. _(but don't make it a habit! 😉😂)_
Interesting to see this worked on. At the risk of sounding like a turntable snob, I am glad I don't own one.

Nice video. Hope you didn't forget to put that c-clip back again on platter's spindle ;)
A thankless task. Now you need a shower.
I saw a Victrola record player and it looked like a
cassette case.
Crosleys are meant for rubbish because they destroy your records plus their sound an
d cartridge is horrible
