Just the epitome of genius song writing and performance. These guys are truly a master of their craft. Whether it be sounding just like their recordings, energy, or overall love for what they do. These guys are master class. Love them.
By far one of the most unique vocalist in Death Metal . I remember seeing many of their live shows in the early 2000s . They were more of a straight up Grindcore back then.
Great fucking band and proof you don't need to tune your guitars down to be heavy as Hell. These guys are absolute pros. I don't really listen to many extreme metal bands because they tune so low and cram so many unneaded notes into their songs that it sounds terrible, these guys have really mastered their craft, I'm sure other longtime musicians like me here would agree.
Yeah man, amen to that. Absolute freaks of their instruments, particularly the lead guitarist josh or whatever his name is, absolute monster to play such extreme music like this with such stamina. They all are. So yeah, masters of their craft for sure!
No doubt. The guitarist is picking the right notes that’s for sure. I definitely agree with your downtuning statement and how a lot of modern metal players stick a tonnn of unneeded notes in there. Less is sometimes more. And These guys are still heavier than most.
The lost experience of going to a concert and watching, moving and enjoying the show without half of the audience holding up their cellphones. I miss those days.
Is it me, or does anyone notice Dave's kick drums sounding a bit off at times whenever he's doing the extremely fast parts on em for a good long period? Idk if its bc he's having an off night, or if it's got something with the triggers, and how their turned up, or what.. Just curious, cause it's something I noticed a good bit about drummers for bands I've seen, and all, and I'm just curious as to why this happens
Probably just endurance, it’s hard to stay at that level of speed for a whole hour and that being said he still gave a solid performance imo it was just muddy in a couple spots. Also every band messes up when they play live, they’re human they’re gonna make mistakes the trick isn’t being perfect it’s playing through the mistakes or hiding them well enough so the audience doesn’t notice, and I can almost guarantee the audience there that night didn’t notice any of the mistakes cuz they were too busy having their faces melted off, it’s only now when you can watch it back that you can rlly pick it apart and hear those mistakes
@@fullmetaljakey He's doing heeltoe, which is an economy technique. You can achieve insane speeds with great endurance if done right. I love cattle decap but dave should really try to hone his craft more.
he was tight when i saw him, he was probably tired because this was their second to last ANZ show of the tour and they barely had any days rest in between travel.
He’s utilizing the double stroke (kick drum) technique. He definitely can play tight, but unfortunately his trigger settings could be off or his pedal settings aren’t how he normally uses them. He’s tight as hell on the hands that’s for sure.

Loved this album since it came out, but read the lyrics to bring back the plague. And Death Atlas, speechless!
It deserves all the views. All of them. So brutal.
Hells yes travis. Vocals are on point live now. Great shit.
Everything on point. Immaculate

Damn, Travis is wearing that Machetazos shirt that I've been wanting lol
Thank you for uploading this.
Their show in israel got canceled because of the freaking corona virus
This feels so good in the midst of a lockdown...
The lost experience of going to a concert and watching, moving and enjoying the show without half of the audience holding up their cellphones. I miss those days.
They never have phones up at metal shows.
I mean, I take a few videos for my own enjoyment and to show friends but I agree, Its better to be active. I spend only a very small part filming.
The best band out there for death metal today.
Cattle Decapitation, Napalm Death, The Berzerker, Visceral Disgorge. That would be a really good tour
Best metal band in years.
Brujeria machetazos sweet my Travis.
Goddamn 8 tracks from Death Atlas !
They are all killer so...🤷♂️😂
A crowd that cattle decap deserves. This is dope.
Travis vocals awesome as always and dat Brujería shirt it's brutal
Damn I wish I heard of them before they came here, so wish I had seen this AMAZING !!!!
Travis wearing that Brujeria shirt...nice 😎
I NEED to see you guys as soon as quarantine lets up! Fucking awesome concert fellas
21:06 the travis we all know and love

The sheer brutality brings a tear to my eye :')

its hard to find a video where he doesn't sound like that. it gives me anxiety listening to him live
Absolutely killer is death atlas live.
they never fail to amaze
this is beautiful
His vocals sound like David Wayne the original vocalist for Metal Church
Loved it. Was TOTALLY in the pit at this time.
hee hee!
:-)
They were sooooo good.
METTTTTUUUULLLLZZZZZ!
Fucking amazing! Got goosebumps !
I see they replaced Dave with a cyborg
Master class.

Brutality!
Espectacular
Amazing!
Excellent
Clandestine ways was fucking heavy
Wow i didnt know Ned Stark could play drums
Brrrrrrrring down your phones !

YES... FUCK YES
What were they saying at the end
I believe they are saying “One more song”
Brujería tshirt
Oyeh
Man, Dave isn't really tight live
I feel like his playing live always sounds like he cant hear the guitar lol
he was tight when i saw him, he was probably tired because this was their second to last ANZ show of the tour and they barely had any days rest in between travel.
this is the tightest I've heard him play tbh
He is tight, it's hard to be consistently tight in a tour this demanding I guess
He’s utilizing the double stroke (kick drum) technique. He definitely can play tight, but unfortunately his trigger settings could be off or his pedal settings aren’t how he normally uses them. He’s tight as hell on the hands that’s for sure.
ok
ele cheira cocain ou é impressão minha ?
Não não.. ele tem um hábito de cuspir na mão e "cheirar o cuspe". Ele faz isso em todo show :)
the guy with the long arms ruin the view. lol
How the fuck?
His live vocals are real shit 😕
Are you watching the same video as me or?
His growls are real shit in comparison to the studio versions
