Really nice video Adrian love seeing the building work ongoing. As an aviator, I agree with the plane wing analogy, the air moving over the roof is traveling faster than the air inside, therefore the air moving faster is at a lower pressure than the air underneath resulting in "lift" exactly the same way an aeroplane wing works as someone has said. If its well anchored down it wont go anywhere.

Adrian. When I was about 8 years old, I nearly cut off a toe with a silage knife. Our one didn't have the foot bar, so you just shoved it into the silage, and that was where I went wrong. It was sewed on and all is good.

Looks good Adrian, once your finished give all your walls a coat of white paint, it make everything a lot brigther and a some floor paint too saves a lot of dust. Did that in a garage i had and best thing about the garage.

The reason why roofs lift is a similar concept to a plane wing except more severe, as air velocity increases, pressure reduces. The air in the wind is free to blow over the roof of a shed and actually increases in velocity compared to an open area. The air in the shed can't escape if the shed has 3 or 4 sides. (There will be small amounts of air entering and exiting but its miniscule). Now the high velocity air passing over the roof is at a lower pressure than the Stationery air in the shed. The uplift Force is equal to pressure by area, so its the differential pressure, probably millibars, multiplied by the m2 area of the roof. The forces can be colossal in large roofs.

Great explanation on the donation/fundraiser, it does keep it fair and still as you brought out if anyone from anywhere else wants to donate they still can. $40,000 that’s fantastic! (That’s around $42,800 US.) How wonderful! Adrian that is a testimony to how far your videos are reaching and probably further. It says that you are reaching others such as myself who is not a farmer, but love the profession and respect the men and women who have devoted their lives to this fine profession. And now you’re reaching out and addressing ones who need community. Something we don’t have enough of in our fast paced world today. Thanks.
