IDEA: use your sawdust to make firepit/fireplace starters. I would think sawdust and some type of wax put into egg cartons or small paper cups. It might be another profit center for you.
Hey guys thanks for the shout out about Winfield. I live in Winfield and eat at that Taco Bell. Bring your horses back for Mule Day and enjoy our town. You guys do a great job with your videos.
Good morning guys always nice to see the both of you working together.i see you got one of those rare nails in the pine the most metal I got in pine is bullets but led isn't to bad on the blade unless you hit around ten in row like I did in a couple trees some body used that trees for target practice. I like those horses the Belgium are a big breed and you being a ferrer you know the Belgium hoffs are softer my grandpa love those horses but hate to put shoes on them special when working in rocky mountains area but he had is way to make sure they didn't come loose have a great day
Nice video 😊 My grandfather ran a team of Belgian cross mules, funny enough named Tom & Jerry. Hope you have a manure plan, makes great fertilizer especially if you mix your chicken detris in as well. Till weekly until you need it and your crops will love it.
Man I love that music. Couple of fine-looking horses. My son still has the Harness my daddy made by hand. He also has his Wagon as a yard ornament. snuggles went crazy hearing y'all's dogs barking in the video. LOL Tyler you and Mrs. Britt sure look good with your traveling clothes on. I enjoyed the part where y'all were driving in the truck and just talking to us. Great video thanks. What is the name of that song. I got to have it so I can listen to it in my shop.
Happy for the winner ! I had received a message through TH-cam saying i had won , but apparently, it was from a hacker . sorry for the mixup . I still will continue to watch as you are one of the best on You Tube .
Beautiful gorgeous horses! Your so lucky to have them! I'm jelly! 😂 I need a horse of my own. Maybe one day! Gorgeous Belgium's! My best friend lives in Winfield Alabama! I'm so glad you showed her town! It is amazing! She tells me it's alot like Mayberry! Everyone knows Everyone! 😊
Yall can recycle your saw dust to the horses then he horse can poop on the sawdust then you can put the poop sawdust on your garden y’all got it made love your videos always something different keep them coming
I have always been leary of using bandsaw sawdust as horse bedding. Its really fine and i was worried about it getting in the horses lungs. I used the sawdust off my swingblade mill because its alot bigger.
This was an awesome video I really enjoyed it such beautiful horses will enjoy see a lot more of them on the future and your barn looks amazing well done now you have a place for your sawdust I’m as excited as you guys on these videos thank you very much for sharing all your love and beauty I so appreciate it take care god bless And congrats to your winner
Would you devote an episode on the difference between you cutting a 2X4 from a fresh or old tree vs a finished 2x4 from Home Depot. Will your 2x4 twist and bend when it dries if not nailed in place. Why does a mill go through all the steps of planning and rounding the corners to end up with 2x4 actually measuring just 1.5" by 3.5" . Love the new horses on the farm.
Lesson I learned at the school of hard knocks; wall boards inside a stall should be vertical, not horizonal. Reason being, horses will rub their self for whatever reason and there is more chance of getting a splinter. You would be surprised at the damage a 6 inch long splinter can do to a hip, when the only thing the horse is thinking about is getting away from it.
When you're young, you can try all kinds of things. I'm already so old(in my seventies) that I'm mostly only interested in what seems to be financially profitable. However, I'm planning an old tractor restoration project here. Sometimes I feel like maybe God has forgotten me here. But what about this, when in good shape and can do things.
What county here in bama did yall buy the horses from? Side note ,My dad always talked about some horses he had when he was young that all you had to do was just tell them and they'd pull the logs where you wanted them.
Yeah, I got a reply to my message I left with my guess saying I was the winner. I reported/blocked it since it hadn't even been 24hrs and you guys said it would be a couple days before the winner was announced. Also, the little icon/avatar attached to the message was just a blank gray circle and not the one you guys have. Hope you guys get some rain soon...how's the garden lookin'?
@@wallacefarmandsawmill Excellent, wise choice. Easy to train and very gentle. I raised them for years. My favorite draft horse breed. Some folks still use draft horses for logging in Montana.
Great video. Love the addition of the two horses. WE are very fortunate to have spouses that like’s to help around the farm and sawmill. Good team mates. Keep on keeping on.
From a horse breeder for over 50 years... Unless you are planning to fo lots of breeding ...you dont want a Stallion to deal with ...geldings are way more dependable and trustworthy... that's experience talking

Can't beat the combination you have ...sawmill and sawdust with horses and dawdust😊

Beautiful horses.....wow great choice kids
Thank you 🤗
I would lay a four inch layer of sawdust in the Round Pen. Softer on the Horses Hoves and will cut down on the mud, after a rain.
Are you closing in Side and back
What county here in bama did yall buy the horses from? Side note ,My dad always talked about some horses he had when he was young that all you had to do was just tell them and they'd pull the logs where you wanted them.
Spend the extra dollar and buy self tapping screws!
Nail in that cant sure screw up a saw blade

I noticed you edging on the sawmill. Is your edger working?
Working fine but I prefer gang edging custom orders. Especially when it’s one log.

You should have built the hay bunk above the grain bunk so the fine half will not fall on the ground
Great idea! We still may!

Glad you enjoyed it!
sw😊
Just keep in mind the social part of schooling
You ever watch working horses with Jim
All the time! We love their channel!
Brit, I see you are wearing jeans today. What is true temperature?
Horses
Remember not to use any Walnut sawdust for the horses, as it's toxic for them.
Draft horses, sure hope they are Belgians!

He has a huge pasture. We adding his stall soon.
Is that what you call a draw horse? Stay safe.
Draft Horse. Yes!
Where is my bounty for being the champ?
Вашої англійсьї не знаю алле ви ккласні 😊

Please Dont keep them in box stalls. They need to be on pasture
That is scary! I got a message saying I was the champ! What gives?

It is. We can’t show it though. Labor laws and such.
Sorry I must have got a scam message😖 it came in my email as if it came from you
As heavy as you built that barn ,I’m going to guess you two are buying gorillas and might be planning a circus !!
Oh I read the discription . It’s horses ! Did I win ? 🤷🏻♂
