Well your going to love this. I just switched to amsoil. I have a 06 international 9400i with a Cummins isx. 1.7 million miles no rebuild. I've had a little blow by for about 3 months now. I just did about 3000 miles and still currently going. I have absolutely no blow by now. I'm very pleased and impressed. Also did the flush as well. So looks like I'm going a few more miles before that big rebuild.

I've had high crankcase pressure and coolant pushing out the reservoir for a little while now and normally that means rebuild with my amount of mileage. So I placed an order with my local seller and followed the exact same process. I just made it home and checked my crank case breather hose and same thing no white smoke and no coolant pushing out. I always have done bg full engine oil 2 stage flush at purchase and use the hho machine overnight at high idle for dpf cleaning at purchase and it works 100x over $$$ up front but also minimal breakdowns on the road pays that tab back too

Maybe my results are not typical but I've done many oil samples as a long haul trucker and I've found that I have exactly the same amount of wear no matter what kind of oil I use. Synthetic or not. Amsoil vs super tech 15w 40 had nearly identical results.
@@Syntheticoilprotection the only time I saw any fuel mileage increase was when I tried 10w30. About 2 tenths of a mpg. Just to be clear I do like amsoil and use it it in my small engines. Their 2 cycle oil is absolutely the best on the market. Also amsoil 10w30 small engine oil is all I use in my commercial mowers. They run much cooler.
Is there every case where someone wasn't happy with putting AMSOIL in? I don't think so. That's the real deal there changing oil on a truck. Luv how it starts out at around 4MPG and at the end gets almost 6MPG. :-)

Great question I take my oil to my local O'Reilly's or AutoZone or advance Auto. What I would recommend is getting a good solid tub container and putting a rope around it so it won't buckle on the sides. And then you can just put the old oil back in the gallon jugs once you're done and recycle them at the auto parts store. They take them free a charge. I recommend doing an Amsoil engine flush and I would also do the diesel injector clean plus eating boost that's the green bottle that will clean the injectors the valves all the carbon deposits inside the combustion chamber. It's a 2015 and I think it only has 420,000 miles. Paccar says that these engines are good for well over 1 million before an overhaul. The life expectancy of this fuel system in engine should be about 3.8 million miles before an overhaul as long as he continues to use Amsoil for the engine the fuel system and transmission differentials in coolant. The difference is the additives detergents and dispersants the max Duty diesel signature will hold up better it'll last longer and they won't thicken as fast the thicker the oil gets you have a lot more where on cold starts and that's where about 80% of the wear on an engine happens so it's best to have a good full flow filter like the Amsoil oil filter and also I would run either the 5w 30 signature series Max Duty diesel or you can run the 5w 40 signature Max Duty diesel they are both great oil the biggest difference with the 30 weight oil is you'll have a lot better gas mileage. I have a truck friend that runs the 5w 30 signature series Max Duty diesel he has the X-15 Cummins in his 18 wheeler and he is very happy with that oil he's done over 46,000 miles in the oil is still in excellent shape

When I used to have my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am I used to change the oil every 2500 miles with super tech mineral oil and half a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. The car ran great however it didn't have full compression because they were carbon deposits around the Rings and there was extra Blow by and if I would have been using Amsoil oil instead of getting 33 miles a gallon I would have gotten 35.2 miles a gallon on the highway that's if I had all the fluids changed out

Wow this is crazy.. first of all I’d never get a paccar motor (many reasons) secondly, the only thing I’d flush is the toilet & the coolant system lol Paccar motors are sensitive af.. is not like Cummins that you can do anything to it. Also, on the paccar you can’t get rid of def just fyi.. on Cummins you save $ just because you can get rid of def.

Maybe my results are not typical but I've done many oil samples as a long haul trucker and I've found that I have exactly the same amount of wear no matter what kind of oil I use. Synthetic or not. Amsoil vs super tech 15w 40 had nearly identical results.
What was the fuel mileage difference?
@@Syntheticoilprotection the only time I saw any fuel mileage increase was when I tried 10w30. About 2 tenths of a mpg. Just to be clear I do like amsoil and use it it in my small engines. Their 2 cycle oil is absolutely the best on the market. Also amsoil 10w30 small engine oil is all I use in my commercial mowers. They run much cooler.

Is there every case where someone wasn't happy with putting AMSOIL in? I don't think so. That's the real deal there changing oil on a truck. Luv how it starts out at around 4MPG and at the end gets almost 6MPG. :-)

Great question I take my oil to my local O'Reilly's or AutoZone or advance Auto.
What I would recommend is getting a good solid tub container and putting a rope around it so it won't buckle on the sides.
And then you can just put the old oil back in the gallon jugs once you're done and recycle them at the auto parts store.
They take them free a charge.

I recommend doing an Amsoil engine flush and I would also do the diesel injector clean plus eating boost that's the green bottle that will clean the injectors the valves all the carbon deposits inside the combustion chamber.
I would also do the diesel all-in-one if you are running in the cold or going to be this time of year that one you'll see on the website is near the diesel injector clean and lubricant.

I need to get my Detroit 60 engine flushed too. I have too much blow by and keep adding gallon of oil every 1000 miles. Do you think amsoil will do the trick or I’m thinking to buy Diesel engine flush pack which is expensive but might be worth to try

It's a 2015 and I think it only has 420,000 miles.
Paccar says that these engines are good for well over 1 million before an overhaul.
The life expectancy of this fuel system in engine should be about 3.8 million miles before an overhaul as long as he continues to use Amsoil for the engine the fuel system and transmission differentials in coolant.

What is the difference in the 2 types of 15-40 Amsoil oil?
The difference is the additives detergents and dispersants the max Duty diesel signature will hold up better it'll last longer and they won't thicken as fast the thicker the oil gets you have a lot more where on cold starts and that's where about 80% of the wear on an engine happens so it's best to have a good full flow filter like the Amsoil oil filter and also I would run either the 5w 30 signature series Max Duty diesel or you can run the 5w 40 signature Max Duty diesel they are both great oil the biggest difference with the 30 weight oil is you'll have a lot better gas mileage.
I have a truck friend that runs the 5w 30 signature series Max Duty diesel he has the X-15 Cummins in his 18 wheeler and he is very happy with that oil he's done over 46,000 miles in the oil is still in excellent shape

When I used to have my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am I used to change the oil every 2500 miles with super tech mineral oil and half a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil.
The car ran great however it didn't have full compression because they were carbon deposits around the Rings and there was extra Blow by and if I would have been using Amsoil oil instead of getting 33 miles a gallon I would have gotten 35.2 miles a gallon on the highway that's if I had all the fluids changed out

The engine flush is a very light yellow detergent send clear fluid.
The cetane Boost Plus injector clean is a clear fluid
This is the diesel Kleen + cetane boost that we used it cleans the injectors and the entire fuel system the filter also the combustion chambers of carbon deposits and it also is a top head cylinder lubricant to your engine will run much quieter it also run much smoother and you can expect to get about 4 to 12% better gas mileage depending on your driving conditions and the amount that you use.
You also feel you have better compression because it cleans the copper cylinder rings.
It's to be used as a maintainer and you can use it in a heavier dose to do a heavy cleaning.

Wow this is crazy.. first of all I’d never get a paccar motor (many reasons) secondly, the only thing I’d flush is the toilet & the coolant system lol
Paccar motors are sensitive af.. is not like Cummins that you can do anything to it. Also, on the paccar you can’t get rid of def just fyi.. on Cummins you save $ just because you can get rid of def.
