The video idea is based off a Stephen King short story “ the long walk” which is about a lottery race that if you stop, they shoot you dead. If you manage to finish the race, you’re set for life. Great shorter novel….and a true testament to the band’s wonderful nerd power🤘🏻😂!

This is possibly my favorite song of theirs. Not even from a musical point, but from a story perspective. This is the moment that the character we've been following, for an album and a half, finally forgives himself for the harm he's done in the past, even though he was magically compelled to do it. Letting go of his internalized negative thoughts. He steels himself for the time that's fast approaching where he stops and faces this evil instead of running from it. It's incredibly emotionally uplifting, and it doesn't hurt tjat the song is 100% undeniable Upness. I'm glad y'all checked this out.

One of my favorite songs from this band is actually a cover, Northwest Passage. It's been described as the unofficial Canadian national anthem Lol i highly suggest gibing it a listen, maybe even the original as well
@Songs and Thongs: One of the interesting things about this video was that while it was being made, they had to make clear they were making a music video, so that people around them didn't get scared about the gun prop they used, because it looked like the real thing. Love this song, by the way, because of Brittney's voice, and Scott's drum skills.
I guess the idea for the music video comes from the novell The Longest Mile by Stephen King. Plot: Run in a competition, if you win youll get rich, but if you stop youll get executed.
The three women who were applauding Brittney near the end of the video, just happened to walk into the shot and spontaneously started clapping.
