I love Cillian Murphy. He's a beautiful man a true artist, and a fantastic actor. His least favorite part of the job is interviews. He's so humble and I love his calm energy. ❤😊
Ngl, Murphy and Nolan felt so comfortable when they were sitting along with Robert Downey Jr. in all these interviews I’ve watched so far. I’ve never seen Nolan laughing a lot unless I saw RDJ who’s making him laugh. Also Murphy was actively answering questions in the interview while laughing at the same time along with Robert, Emily.
How refreshing to be such a great actor and such a genuine person! We need more actors and actresses like Killian. There are way too many self-centered divas in the world. Bravo for Killian!
Well his Oscar win will bring him more work. Part of these works to come is marketing and of course interviews and media. I hope he gets the next James Bond series. Be as simple and family man as you are.
The fact that he can't comprehend why society puts actors on a pedestal just makes him more sober than the rest. Why do we do that? It actually seems to be dying down a bit compared to 20 years ago. It's just a trend. And it wasn't always like that, 400 years ago they were treated like prostitutes or even worse. They were at the bottom of the labor market. If the audience got bored they started throwing vegetables and fruits on them.
Love Cillian, he is an 6:22 exceptionally talented actor. Not embarrassed to let the world know he loves his wife and two boys. Very loyal to his co stars, directors and all who are involved in film making. His parents must be very proud of him. He also takes on such intense roles. My hero. Be happy Cillian Murphy
I think he was honoured and flattered to have his work recognised. However he feels quite uncomfortable with all the fame, stardom, Hollywood etc. The promotional tour he had to do for Oppenheimer wrecked him a bit I think. I'm sure he's glad that's all over now. He's definitely an introvert, maybe a bit shy. I think the energy it must've taken being around confident extroverts like RDJ, Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt for the last few months, years even, has probably taken its toll.
I love cillen Murphy he's a great actor so down to earth I like that he doesn't feed into all the Hollywood bull and I don't know if it was just me but I could see that he looked oneasy on the red carpet. He'll stay grounded because that's who he is. Congratulations on your win 🎉😊
Cillian Murphy is NOT, NOT, NOT from the UK. He’s NOT English, NOT Scottish, NOT Welsh NOT Northern Irish. He’s IRISH, from the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. It’s a whole different country and culture. You really DONT KNOW CILLIAN MURPHY! Do you!
@@annecoffey8379 th-cam.com/video/Z2FOyGGDLO8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O6970cd64epYG8w3 Yes, Cillian Murphy would be diplomatic but direct at the same time. He is very clear about his nationality, as per the above video. It’s a bit like Canadians being called Americans. Irish people DO NOT like being called or being associated with being British. The British media has been doing it for years. It DOES NOT GO DOWN WELL!! Táimid bródúil as ár dtír agus as ár náisiúntacht!!! Is daoine éagsúla agus cultúr difriúil muid 👍🤙
@@williamwalker3837Ireland is a part of the UNITED KINGDOM, is it not? I'm pretty sure my geography isn't that bad. And you sound like some rabid stalker, you don't know the guy either, do you?
No the Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK. And Cillian Murphy is from the Republic of Ireland County Cork actually. And if you watch any of his interviews from the past you will see him pull people up on that telling interviewers he is irish and from ireland. The UK is made up of England. Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland. The Republic of Ireland is a different country. So yeah brush up on your geography and maybe a little history between the UK a d Ireland!
I think the reason so many respect this man is that we're all so sick of the ussual narcissistic egotistical " celebrities" . He considers himself an Actor not a celebrity. He is concerned with the Art,,,not the phoney fluff. It's Damm refreshing. Looking forward to seeing more of his work on film.
This is the problem with people holding the concept of "HOLLYWOOD" to a high standard in the realm of making films or artistic expression. There are some who love being movie stars and all the high-octane dazzle that comes with it. Murphy is the opposite. Yes, he wanted the Oscar - but it was just the byproduct of meaningful work. He doesn't try to play the game, but he did it for Nolan and his belief in the film. His co-stars who were more adept at handling the BS - kept it fun and meaningful for him. However, the GQ cover in March 2024 and the Versace campaign tripped me up. These felt like rare, brief moments when it felt like he sold out to play the game I thought he hated. Yes, he has modeled before - beautifully. Yes, he's been in various luxury brand campaigns. But the GQ spread in March featuring a 47/48-year-old man posing in clothes for 20-year-olds -- like a libertine, daddy's rich bored boy vibe to titillate Oscar voters at that time calling him "The Man of the Moment" -- felt calculated and cynical for someone who hates the BS. Same with Versace. But $$$$ talks. Big eye roll there. Hollywood will do that to you. (See Christopher Guest's film, "For Your Consideration" about working actors thrust into the Oscar race and how it got to their heads.) It's likely his friends and family took the piss out of him for that and brought him back down to earth.
He's a breath of fresh air! I've always loved Cillian Murphy!
It was so lovely and so refreshing to see him shake hands with all the presenters before accepting the award.
I love Cillian Murphy. He's a beautiful man a true artist, and a fantastic actor. His least favorite part of the job is interviews. He's so humble and I love his calm energy. ❤😊
Of course, he wanted to win the Oscar. He just doesn't want to be a celebrity. But he wants awards toward his professional achievements.
He's the real deal a gentleman and an outstanding actor and a real human being nothing false just lovely
When Your work speaks for itself , U don’t have to .. Love love LOVE Cillian , Wonderful Actor & all nice human being …

Gifted people are that way

Fantastic Actor. Seems like good guy, family man.
I love him
Killian Murphy and Benedict Cumberbatch are my two favorite UK actors. Two incredibly talented but humble and down to Earth gentlemen!

To be honest, interviewers and reporters ask the most asinine questions that yes, eyes need to be rolled.
He's just lovely. The world needs more great actors who are terrible celebrities.

Can't wait to see what he does next on screen! 🎬👏
Compare Cillian murphy winning gis awa3d and his behavior at the oscars to will smith a few years ago......
Bless him. Hope he manages to stay out of the personal life spotlight.
Love Cillian Murphy❤❤
a down to earth person who is one of the most beautiful human beings to look at!

You tell them about yourself, they use it against you. Then, your life will be all about keeping your guards up.

👏👏👏👏
I truly admire Cillian Murphy's acting work, but am i the only person in the World that's seing a 'almost Alien', 'Look' on his face.
For me Cillian is the best tip for next James Bond, is't ❤❤❤
Cillian Murphy as James Bond? That's an interesting choice! Would love to see him in that role! ❤
Cillian, U needs check your son behind you 🙈

It’s a wig.
No.
Funny, just put a C instead of a B in front of Emily Blunts name😮 This never fails to amuse my family at breakfast😅😅😅
💖
His personality only adds to his magnetic appeal! The world would be such a better place with more like him. If only...🫠🤗
