Pure class. Mr. Tucci exudes sophistication in his style and is also a humble guy. That's a true gentleman and refreshing to see. What I consider to be a real "influencer."
@ You have to look into Jamie! Outstanding artist. Had an opportunity to see him live in 2006. Amazing! the Live at Blenheim Palace film is so good as well.
@ this is really good too. Used to be on TH-cam in higher quality but this is the only thing I could find. th-cam.com/video/9wXUEsc6cpk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M3d9QrUcx5qJKWeo
I like mine with Rittenhouse rye, demarera syrup, 3 dashes of bitters, and a cherry. I also use scotch, maple syrup, different bitters. I usually make it different each time.
Great video. I especially liked the way you were truly enjoying yourself with you wife while making this.....been married 33 yrs myself and have a very similar relationship with my wife. We're going through quite a time right now. We have 3 daughters. One got married a month ago and the other is getting married this Sunday. Probably will employ your old fashioned recipe. Cheers.
This is my favorite cocktail to make. I make my own bitters and after mixing all the ingredients I will put a splash of Port. Thank you for the your video
The best cocktail in the world. The one that stands above all others. I do like a squeeze of fresh orange in with the sugar/syrup in mine though, along with a Maraschino Cherry to finish it off.
Who doesn't want to be Stanley tucci? That was pretty entertaining. I love how he decided to taste it twice before he handed it to the woman recording the video. Priceless! For those of you that like cinnamon, make your own cinnamon simple syrup, plenty of videos on here to show you how and super easy to do. A teaspoon or 2 in a burboun or rye old fashioned and that is the only way you will ever drink an old fashioned. Top it off with a twist of the rind of an orange peel around the rim of the glass and garnished with a few blueberries on a skewer and you've got yourself a fantastic beverage. Enjoy.
Stanley Tucci exudes more class, wit and sophistication standing in his kitchen in slacks and a polo shirt than I would in a three-piece suit in an upscale bar! Of COURSE I can’t compete. (But I do make a decent Old Fashioned. Just sayin’)
Right....more....now. We've been waiting for new episodes. We're so enthused we're watching the old episodes, daily. Are they listening? There is nothing else on til Tucci's comes on. I've gone back to reading novels til then.
Usually done with a sugar cube in the bottom of the glass and then a few dashes of bitters muddled together, then the chilled bourbon with a flamed orange peel
Tucci is almost a parody, cooking or, here mixing, the most basic recipes that anyone could find and figure out in a few minutes. It could be a SNL bit, Celebrities Making Easy Stuff. Cooking a hot dog, defrosting a TV dinner, boiling water.
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
Stanley, just a question, My mom (RIP) first taught me this drink 20 years ago. She however added Maraschino Cherries (a little of the juice into the sugar water mix, and then a cherry into the drink itself. I assume this was her version?
Cranberry flavoured soda water is nice to balance the drink to the pallets of the consumer. A smidge of strawberry flavour syrup can sweeten to make more approachable to those not ready for full bore gin + Compari
I've noticed most recipes stopped calling for the cherry over the last 10-15 years. In fact, majority only calls for the orange twist of late. Cocktails continue to evolve--and in the case of Old Fashioned, re-volve, since the addition of multiple fruits probably only took form around prohibition (or later).
“In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning. 🕶 While the whole wide world is fast asleep 🥃 You lie awake thinking of the girl 🎷 Never even think. Of counting sheep 🎶
He did it backwards. You mix the sugar and bitters first. Then you incorporate the rye or whiskey. Finally pour it over a chilled big ice cubed glass. Top it off with orange zest.
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.

The classiest man on the internet
Tucci has style and charisma that is rarely seen anymore.
"Oh, you'll get it." Stanley!
Great taste in jazz! Jamie Cullum “In the wee small hours of the morning” playing in the background.
Thanks for this, I was thinking wow this is some smooth music but had no idea who it was!👍🏼

Never thought of using Maple Syrup,,, Cheers
Love you Stanley… pure elegance and class. You’re always a treasure! 👍❤️💋

Love Stanley! Its always time for a lovely cocktail 🍹!
Oh yum! The drink looks good too.
This is my favorite cocktail to make. I make my own bitters and after mixing all the ingredients I will put a splash of Port. Thank you for the your video
Nice! I'll have to try this sometime! Stanley should have his own cooking show!
I've always used Steen's Cane Syrup (about 1/2 teaspoon) in my Old Fashioneds. Very delicious.
Stanley Tucci, classy, fantastic actor, makes middle age, something to look forward to👌
64 is old age.

When I grow up (nearly 50 already) I want to be like him. Ice included.
Thank you for the video Mr. Tucci!
Starting late Stan 8am is the time, I've got problems 😂😂, what a guy!! Wee Cuban stogie go well with it 👍👍👌
We made some today. So good!
Stanley Tucci...Yummy and the drink is good too!
The extra ingredient here is Stanley's humor.
Dilution good, i always put way more bitter drops in
This made me smile!
I pick between the Angostura vs Peychaud bitters based on the whiskey/bourbon used. Add those Luxardo cherries my man!
Stanley Tucci exudes more class, wit and sophistication standing in his kitchen in slacks and a polo shirt than I would in a three-piece suit in an upscale bar!
Of COURSE I can’t compete. (But I do make a decent Old Fashioned. Just sayin’)
Old fashioned with part whiskey bourbon and part rye whiskey makes a great old fashioned.
so cool.................and relaxing
more Stan can cook !!!!!!
Right....more....now. We've been waiting for new episodes.
We're so enthused we're watching the old episodes, daily. Are they listening?
There is nothing else on til Tucci's comes on. I've gone back to reading novels til then.
He should be "The Most Interesting Man In The World!" Love him ❤
Tucci Gang, Tucci Gang, Tucci Gang
He gets points for his morning drinking actions. I'd hang with him for some Old Fashions. I'd get my own ice, though.😂
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! Enjoy that drink, my favorite!
Usually done with a sugar cube in the bottom of the glass and then a few dashes of bitters muddled together, then the chilled bourbon with a flamed orange peel
We know dude relax
Somebody get this poor man a super big ice cube.
Nice!!
I forget which movies he’s in but I like all of them
Tucci is almost a parody, cooking or, here mixing, the most basic recipes that anyone could find and figure out in a few minutes. It could be a SNL bit, Celebrities Making Easy Stuff. Cooking a hot dog, defrosting a TV dinner, boiling water.
Stanly Tucci is my going to be my new best friend
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
Indeed!!
I would love to learn cocktail making from a mob boss like this.
This kingsman role really went to his head
Wow. I'm from Wisconsin home of the old fashioned. What are you making?
I've never had Angostura Bitters, but I'm curious about them!
They are good. Really good.
Pretty much every bar carries them.
If you like whiskey cocktails it's a must have
Stanley, just a question, My mom (RIP) first taught me this drink 20 years ago. She however added Maraschino Cherries (a little of the juice into the sugar water mix, and then a cherry into the drink itself. I assume this was her version?
Something Muska would drink 🥃🥃🥃
Love it
Oh what would Stanley Tucci do if he was here right now? He'd make some drinks and serve to you. That's what Stanley Tucci'd do.
Fabbri cherry syrup, just a touch!
bitters, half slice of caracara
Makers Mark or Bulliet Rye
Try it with rye - heaven!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Sounds interesting. Going to try it.
Thank you! I really enjoyed you and your wife’s romantic playfulness and I will try making my first Old Fashioned this weekend!!
Cranberry flavoured soda water is nice to balance the drink to the pallets of the consumer. A smidge of strawberry flavour syrup can sweeten to make more approachable to those not ready for full bore gin + Compari
This guy is the koolest! You kno it tastes better just cause the jokes
Beautiful! No cherry?

Stanley, I’m not gay, but I love you
Grabs the ice with his unwashed hand. Classy move!
He did it backwards. You mix the sugar and bitters first. Then you incorporate the rye or whiskey. Finally pour it over a chilled big ice cubed glass. Top it off with orange zest.
He's Mr. Tucci, he's allowed to fix a drink however he wants 🎉🎉
Please turn the sound up can't hear you
Angostura bitters are like christmas in a bottle.
Dear Stanley, Could you show us how to make a Mojito? thank you! Your best fan Charlene
Love this drink. But you have to muddle the fruit in the bottom to get it right. I'll try this variation though. Who knows, it might be good?
Make a trip to Wisconsin. This is the home of the Old Fashioned....... BTW, the Brandy Old Fashioned is king.
First mistake putting ice in the glass before the booze. 2nd mistake is it is rye not bourbon.
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
😋
No water added? 🥃
You have lemons and oranges but can’t get big cube ice cube trays from the dollar store 😂😂
You didn't tell us which bourbon you used!
Stanley I've got to do the interview I'm already getting death threats
Not an Old Fashioned without Luxardo cherries…c’mon Stanley!
Make me one too
Johnny drinks???
Great drink, done with style. Phone video? Really?
I can make the same drink I just don't look so cool
I would have liked to hear the brand of whiskey; and what ? No cherry!
In a glass of ice but strains into another glass of ice….oooookay
the original gin sling was made with sugar and water..
Needs a cherry, Stanley.
You didn't plug in Matthew McConaugheys bourbon! 😂
You forgot the cherry and a splash of tonic water.
Nice video, but please tell me that he has enough money to buy something better than Dewar’s White Label.
Actually, the Old Fashion Way was without ice
ah so this is where jeremy piven got that
Tooch - get yourself from ice tongs vs using your meat hooks to grab the ice.
Sub par. No muddled fruit? No black cherry? I’d send it back.
Big big fan of Stanley Tucci but I seriously thought him and the guy johnny drinks dad was the same guy 🤦🏼♂️.
It’s not day drinking if you never went to sleep.
Dove qui ??
Thats not how you make an old fashioned
I love this dude he is so awesome but unfortunately the old fashion is not going to taste good at all
Day drinking
Thats called the Kindergarten Old Fashioned.
Wrong.
No cherry, and sugar water instead of a sugar cube? BLASPHEMY!!!! Lol
The girl literally wasn’t familiar with bitters? How old is she, really? And why is an older Hollywood actor hanging out with her? 😮
WRONG WRONG WRONG
Wrong! You put sugar , bitters at the bottom of the glass, add orange slice, cherry, then muddle. After muddling, splash soda. Add ice, then liquor
You lost me at Longbranch 🤦🏼
Wisconsin style is much better.
Sorry Stanley. Love you, but not even close. Also, please don’t call that “good whiskey.”
