I'm honestly surprised Nintendo never did this as a fun Easter egg. They could have set each of these up as secret unlockable levels in the Switch port of SMB 3D World.
Btw Sonic Adventure made green hill zone as an Easter egg in the end
Fans do what Nintendon't, after all...
I wanna see each of these as a seperate mod or whatever, but with as much of each game as they can make given the objects avalible in the game

I'm so glad that they made the final level from SML2. That stage was hell when I played it as a kid.
It was made by just one guy, not an official release by the developers.

Incredible mod, are Mario's movements from the mod or were they already before Mario Odyssey?
In the re release of this game on switch they allowed mario to do the roll mid air like the dive in odyssey which is why the moves might look similar.

My laptop struggles running Cemu (games used to run with incomplete graphics at 720/900p with small fps drops, now it runs with the same graphics as the Wii U and no fps drops but in 570p (i think?) ), so it can't run Yuzu.
And also I have an actual Switch which is simply the better option for me.
For now I'm playing 3D World U, but with all the upgrades on the Switch version and the whole Bowser's Fury, I think getting that is pretty inevitable 😂😂
(Also OMG 11 yrs later and 3DWU still rocks graphics-wise)

For SMB2, I prefer having a boss fight before the end of the level. That was where you fought with Mouser in the original game.
I am surprised that Nintendo has not gone back to retrofit the first three games into 3D classics.
I'e been saying this since N64. If Nintendo would have done this along with 50 more classics, Sony Playstation would not have been close to competing with Nintendo.

I doubt many of you know this; When New Super Mario Bro's (wii) came out, it was awesome.
Some awesome nerds/hackers, modded the game and re-constructed the original NES super mario bro's with it. It was fantastic.
I'm guessing Nintendo found out about it because, not long after that Super Mario Maker came out.
THIS concept (making older mario games with new technology) isn't new.

POV: You don’t realize 3D world ISNT 3D in super Mario maker 2, plus it’s better to mod 3d world then to make a limited-ass 2d Level in 3d world style
I would like a 2D Mario in this artstyle but with more detailed asset like vanilla 3D world(I understand why the asset is not as detailed because it’s supposed to be retro) instead of the super mario bros wonder artstyle. It’s to streamline everything. Maybe tweak the camera angle to be higher and closer to make it look more 3D? NSMB looks weird(it’s plasticky gummy 2D background but with 3D character) so people are requesting a new artstyle, it worked in DS and Wii but not in HD, it’s just NSMB is too cookie cutter with the theme and too lazy. If wonder is not a replacement for NSMB, then it’s fine but I think we still need the more linear gameplay of NSMB.

Mario 2 worlds a little off maybe the no shy guys or not throwing items other than that looks good that game really could use a remake hell all of them could.
