No. There were no 1 and 2 bit game systems. And the original Mac was a 16/32 bit system, which quickly lost its 16 and 24 bit support as the platform matured. The Game Boy CPU was an 8-bit system which had a CPU that was basically a modified version of what was in CP/M-era computers immediately preceding the introduction of the IBM PC.
