My company just ordered flashlights, power banks and other products from Nitecore. I was in charge for deciding what products to order and videos like this helped me a lot. Keep up a good work and presentation of the products.

      Reviewing his own company's product?

    • @wyattlavigne
      @wyattlavigne 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CheezusHGrist yep.
There are some other good/great reviewers out there, but who fail to *consistently* check all the boxes in highlighting what needs the product fills, what role it’ll fill in your life, how it does it better than what’s out there, the cons, who it’s for, etc. Moreover, his tonality, which basically lulls you into a trance and holds your attention is up there with the best. In addition, the lighting, which is very off standard, seems to work for some reason, too. About the only thing he doesn’t do quite as amazingly well is his editing.

This is so awesome! I didn't expect LiiGear to collab with Nitecore. An issue I face with backpacks is that some seem like they can carry enough but there always seems to be some little bit of extra space they need.

My daily struggle with my backpack is basically the main pocket only opening half of the way and not having a way to organise, I even thought about hand sewing a molle panel or velcro inside to help with the organisation but I might get it done wrong and only make it worse, so a new backpack is the solution, and your wright, functionality is way better than looks!

Currently using a Mil-Spec Mo*key back pack, very messy set up, no way of sorting at all. Backing has no ventilation, especially for our climate in Singapore. Always have a wet back after carrying my current back pack.
This BP18, with ways to sort and ventilation back will be very good.

Very functional and practical backpack. The horizontal molle on the straps is something very different from other backpacks. The quick-release straps make the conversion to a shoulder sling backpack very convenient. Great as an EDC bag. Btw the patch on the bag is a killer! Thank you.

Thanks for the really in-depth review MJ! I usually have an issue with my current bag because I sacrifice on the functions (little molle webbing), it has really bad ventilation and the padding is really stiff, it doesn’t have an internal compartments. The BP18 looks really good and functional!

  • @nasirnasaves

Currently using a gopro backpack, the material is similar to a dry bag and it's open top as well. Main problem I have with it is accessibility to my stuff inside, difficult to get stuff at the bottom without taking everything else out! Been looking around for a replacement since I'm gonna use it for sch or hiking. This backpack looks great!! Great review as always!

  • @ArchonSG1
    @ArchonSG1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nice indeed.
My issues with functional bags is usually space management and size (too big / too small)
The modular system, both molle and hooks and hoops surface attachment makes this an interesting way to be able to customize the storage area to my needs.
Wished you showed if there is a separate space to hold a hydration bladder, and if there is an attachment to secure the item, as that would be a main item (3l hydration bladder) for me to put in along with emergency repair tools and a mini first aid kit when I go cycling.
Size wise it might be a little too big for my current immediate needs (would prefer something smaller) but I think it can be solved with securing straps to take up loose space.
    Definitely something to consider.

What really grinds my gears about my current bag is how uncomfortable the shoulder straps are. After a full day of wear they dig into my shoulders and create hot spots.

I rotate between 3 bags (2 backpacks and 1 briefcase) for work, though since I cycle to work 90% of the time, I hardly use the briefcase. One of the backpacks is more than 10years old already, and it's nice and sturdy, but the internal organization is falling apart. It has a phone pocket with outdated dimensions on the strap, and a sternum strap. However the only reason I still take this bag on my ride to work is because it has a rain cover, which doesn't fit my other backpack. The other backpack is a daypack, which has almost no padding, not as weatherproof and doesn't offer as much organization as the first one, but it has a more minimalist aesthetic.

I have tons of bags. Eventually I'm done with them cos they either end up too big or too small. Indeed there are many bags similar sized to this one but... they definitely don't have the features like this one. The conversion to sling bag won me over, gonna make it so much nicer for weekend park walks, zoo trips and etc.
Perhaps time for me to upgrade my diaper bag.
    Hands-down on this one!

Now this is a great looking bag!
My current day-to-day bag has some serious problems with accessibility and sweat retention (like you mentioned.) Every time I need something I have to completely take it off, and more often than not I find the back panel soaked after running around in the hot weather all day.
I'm really digging all the ways you can get into this thing, and all the things you can do with that velcro panel. I'm a sucker for micromanagement. My own gripe is with the bottom of the bag, I'd definitely need to install some kind of padding to protect the electronics I lug around.

Some of the struggles I face with backpacks/bags are:
    1. Durability - sometimes the grab handles or seam tear easily especially if the material used is thin or not strong enough
    2. Weight - many fashion brands use leather as a material for their bags and while leather is durable, it is pretty heavy even without any load
    3. Comfort - some shoulder straps may not have sufficient padding and may 'cut' into your shoulder when the load is heavy
    4. Functionality - some bags lack the space and compartments or are not able to be customised to meet the various needs, hence the need to buy different bags for different uses.

I live in salt lake city utah, drive a couple hours in any direction and you find yourself in some very rugged country that is tons of fun to explore, this bag looks like the perfect edc bag for city life or a quick hike, how hard would it be to get one of these shipped to the u.s.?
My current edc bag is a travel on anti theft number, biggest gripe is that the padding in the straps has begun to wear out and the metal wires in them dig into my shoulders.

Im using a generic decathlon backpack. It served me well. Zipper is failing sometimes, a few holes here and there. Interiorly it wasnt sturdy enough, ever. But i traveled through Europe with it for years, and served me well for another 3-4 years as a workbag. I'm happy with my purchase, but it wont keep up for long anymore :( it was missing some important feature, however. External layer needed to make it "waterproof", if you opened it with something heavy in the fron pocket, it just collapses, and the molle system is a thing i wanna have for the next backpack :) i was looking for this BP18 prior to this video. Maybe i dont have to buy a backpack, we will see :3

The front zippers can be completely hidden in a triangle pocket at the top. So no one will know it can be opened at all. I didn’t show it in the video but good point 👍

@@NitecoreSG Great feature! Now I think this will be a good EDC for me.

The pack looks awesome. Perfect size for EDC. Are there any other colors (like coyote brown) available aside from black.

My struggles would be it’s either too big or too small. This looks to be just the nice size. Work helmet, 1L insulated bottle, a jacket, folding umbrella, a pair of sandals and some tech accessories, that’ll be my every day carry.

struggle? im currently running a Haley Strategic flatpack plus which is pretty flexible, but it does look brick on your back (ala Death Stranding) when you expand it and shove a jacket inside.
Previously i was running a Maxpedition Malaga, sling style pack which i ran for 4-5 years.
Really wish this pack came in different colours. Specifically the unassuming "Wolf Grey" and a classic Desert Tan
But the big question: How well does it take a Dell Latitude 7220 rugged tablet - it's super thicc and heavy

Very nice... It is difficult to find the perfect side with a great configuration

Is the interior lines to keep rain? Or do I need a pack liner?

Great videos. Really love what you're showing about this pack, and I just bought your MH25s bundle - question: You showed the loop surface of the main flap, but does the back of the inside main compartment also have the loop material? I really need to be able to do the same thing on that surface for this to be completely the perfect solution for what I'm trying to do. Thanks

Nice bag but it would be even nicer if there was an olive green color option.
I can't fit a laptop in my smaller 20l backpack.
