    I like the bag. Agree with your thoughts about the lack of pockets, I too have pack stuff away then couldn't find it. Really like the removable straps. You did a fantastic job reviewing this bag.

    Nitecore's own video says the bottom handle is just a handle. They don't mention the long thin pocket at all - radio antenna maybe? I'd imagine the yellow stitching is just for aesthetics, make it stand out from the other 5,000 solid black backpacks.
    Great review! Check out all their velcro stuff and pouches to customize the inside.

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe it is just a handle, or like somebody else commented, maybe it is for hanging an axe?
      You might be able to fit an antenna in the thin pocket.
      Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed the review.

    Great review, I find the one funny thing about this bag: The two vertical zip on the front are pretty good for quick access from each side while using as the sling bag.

    The loop on the bottom is for an axe, the long thin pocket is probably for trekking poles...

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is brilliant. An axe would fit perfectly in that loop. The long thin pocket is way too thin for trekking poles.

      Company says: Grabhandle not for Axt
      I mean, it looks like a Grabhandle, Axt/ Ski loops are longer and have a smaller base to make the twisting easier.
      Why the Yello - it’s the Company’s colors 🤭

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seductive_Octopus Nitecore sent me an email, here is what they said about the handle: "The loop provides great hand-carry support while using as the sling bag, it helps you turn the bag from the back to the front."
      You may be right about the yellow stitching too. I was thinking of something else though.

  • @seductive_Octopus
    @seductive_Octopus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    The slim with Velcro covered “Pouch” on the Back is for the typical aluminum rod/ strut for additional support if you need or want some.
    It’s like on the bigger Tracking Backpacks 🤨 it’s a bit weird to see it like that, normally Company’s just take a piece of “plastic” as support and if needed they put the aluminum on top.
    😂 but this company is doing things always… different

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds logical. 👍🏻 Basically it is just an option to add a support. 👍🏻

      @@FittoSurvive Try this backpack with / without the rod / strut inserted there. It makes a big difference. Without it it will be better EDC city carry bag. But with any heavy load in backpack rod is "must have" in case of backpacks like this.

    This Velcro place in the middle of the back - it's a place for a special frame, which stiffens the backpack, if you have a lot of stuff in there which pushes the back, it doesn't feel so.

  • @arfanwafiq3278
    @arfanwafiq3278 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Nitecore have different size mesh pocket with velcro backing to put at the back side of the front panel. They also have different design of elastic organizer that you can choose to customize the way you want. Its a good idea but its just add cost and all the accessories not cheap

    • @FittoSurvive

    Sorry, English is not my native language, but I have to say it
    1.
    end-to-end department is a very bad decision. there are little things that will get lost in one big compartment. If there were two departments, then this problem could be solved.
    2. Incorrect locks on the upper straps. Removed too easily. You may be caught and the backpack will fall. The lower ones are made more correctly.
