It's crazy how far back the memories go. I was 4 when this aired, but much of this was still going strong by the end of the 80's and I remember it all. Television when it was broadcast off of a film transfer machine hits different. I love it!

Chris I didn’t even realize the networks switched. I have no memory of that at all. I was watching this and thinking, “why is there an ABC station id on CBS?”
@@ClunkerSlim It was a big deal. WTVD became an ABC affiliate due to its owner (Capital Cities) merging with ABC. WRAL became one of the top CBS affiliates in the USA shortly after the switch.
Oh, BTW, can anyone identify the Soul Train episode from this collection? I'm almost 100% sure that it's the one featuring the Deele, Kim Fields and Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr.
