Coming from Norther Europe country where the food is far away from being as spicy/flavor rich as Asian food... UK food still feels hella bland to me. What can one do to potatoes to make them even more plain than they are?? Or bread. Or just tomatoes. I know you can get lucky with certain foods & places, but "general public UK food" is just SO plain it hurts.
