Mark is patient to have a kid in tow. I don’t know how he and Ying do it. When my daughter was born, we literally didn’t take her out until she was a year old. I think that’s the secret to staying together. Everybody stay together and bear it together even when facing challenges. It’s both of their hard work that built the channel up to this point.
I've said this before here, i lived in Thailand for 8 years. Chiang Mai/Rai is by far my favourite area in Thailand. Climate, people, landscape, food. 2nd is Isan (NE)

@@farhanmulji4758 It is very cheap for food, laundery, haircut and so on, living is very easy there. I've been in a Hotel with big garden and swimmingpool, but you can go much cheaper. In all I would say, you can live there for 600-700 Euro a month, including everything.

All the street food is amazing. But still I am scared of food poisoning since i have had bad experiences in the past where it went really bad for me.

Understood, it is more common to get sick from food when you are in another country for traveling & trying out the local dishes. That’s somehow because you might be exposed to foreign bacteria and illnesses that your body doesn’t know how to handle.
However, street food, literally food you can buy on the footpaths anywhere in Thailand, often looks and smells amazing, and is usually safe to eat. But avoid anything that looks like …it’s been sitting around in the sun and humidity for a few hours. Stick with bubbling boiling soups, freshly fried dishes, and meat that has been grilled right in front of you.
In case of a mild case, you are probably going to be able to self-medicate your way back to health… you can then drop by a local pharmacy to buy a bottle of Salol et Menthol Mixture (FLYING RABBIT), a white sweet liquid preparation that symptomatically relieves diarrhea, flatulence, upset stomach, and abdominal pain. For adults: 15 mL 3 times daily. It’s very helpful and improves stomach function.
