My nose this month landed mostly on vanilla and just wouldn’t move away from it really. A little fruit here or there but…mostly vanilla. Even scentsy fragrances that don’t have vanilla in them I was adding vanilla buttercream, vanilla waves, or happy birthday to them.
My favorite scents are citrus, fruits, & spices. I’m pleasantly surprised that I enjoy a few gourmands, such as Kringle’s Jelly Donut & the new Sprinkled Macarons. Maybe the nose matures like fine wine. Cozy & Warm smells mostly of milky caramel to my nose - barely any coffee. That being said, I am a Paris Café fan. ☕️ Country Candle Coffee Shop is a powerhouse-a very sweet, syrupy scent. So funny to compare candle burning to burning your money. 🔥💸 🤭
It’s funny you mention scent preferences changing as you get older. I feel the same way. I once exclusively loved fruit and bakery scents but now prefer woods and clean scents. I also used to LOVE a 12/10 strength and throw where I now prefer more subtle scents. Like a step above a background? So strange! x
Thanks for sharing!! I'm so glad you are chiming in on this! I do think its something that happens to a lot of people as they get older. It could be related to hormonal changes but sometimes we just have a change in preference. I am embracing many more scents these days and it feels nice.
Ok..i do not understand why Homeworx; can't use a standard good wick. I just bought new candles from QVC..blueberry tart..sounds good. The worst performance with thin wicks. I just don't understand. Why? And the throw is not great.. different issue. So many of their candles have zero problems. These wicks are terrible. I am sure that QVC would do something about this; but it is not there fault. At least BBW has the some wicks in their candles. They don't change them based on the candle. Sorry to vent. Thank you for great content.
