Thanks for Sharing your Scentsy Collection! I love seeing what everyone has in their stash! You need to talk Lisa into doing her Scentsy Collection video...I'd love too see it!
When we bought our home two years ago I was thrilled I now had a Scentsy closet on the landing upstairs. It’s a large closet and holds all my warmers, my hoarded bars, bricks and all of my accessories. My friend asked if I sold Scentsy. I was a little embarrassed AND a little proud of my collection.😩 I figure they’re cheaper than handbags and shoes so why not?!?!?! (PS…it’s kind of your fault - I connected with Lisa because of you! 😂🤣)
How nice and neat! I really like the organization in the baskets and especially the cabinet. It is definitely my style. I currently store my spring/summer bars in a vintage mail sorter in a closet. Each slot holds 3 bars. My fall and winter scents are in a chest of drawers in my master closet. Each drawer is devoted to a type of scent- apple, pumpkin, cranberry/holiday, and fresh for post holiday. Gourmands are in a kitchen drawer. I pull out bars and fill a basket kept in the family room for what I want to warm for the month. I do the same for candles each month.
Thank you so much! That is what I need for my brain lol. Neat and organized haha! I grew up with a mother who did not allow for things to not be put back in their place. I am so thankful for growing up that way because it has always helped me to keep my house fairly tidy naturally.
I have a dedicated space in our home that I refer to as my candle closet. My system is very similar to yours, I keep my Scentsy wax in baskets and have them organized according to melting season. I have separate baskets for bbmb's, pods, bricks, and vendor wax. I have three shelves for candles, candle holders, unused warmers etc. My personal rule is I cannot buy any more home fragrance if my baskets and candle shelves are full. Last year I did great shopping my stash and depleted quite a bit, but the after christmas sale and reserve launch from kringle did me in and my candle shelves are once again full. I haven't noticed too big of a difference in the club bricks versus regular bricks. Once the new catalog is released for Scentsy I plan to make some deep cuts to my club and once again shop my stash.
So fun seeing your collection! I definitely have way more bars and can’t help myself because I just love having such a huge variety to choose from & there’s always new bars coming out. Plus my club is much larger I try to cut bars but it’s so hard 🤣 but I do have way less candles and do not purchase vendor wax.
Love seeing your Scentsy stash! I store my collection like you do[gourmand, floral, fresh]. I put them in plastic baskets. Looking forward to the Spring/Summer catalog 🥳
I like the way you’re storing these. I have mine in some plastic snap lid containers in a cabinet. It works but I don’t love it. I’m a gourmand and vanilla fiend so I have a lot of that. But, I’m a little different than you I think, in that I lean into scentsy more for summer smells-fruit and coconut scents. I really don’t love burning candles when it gets hot out so scentsy is how I get my home fragrance kick then.
Melanie I’m jealous that compared to my collection I definitely have double what you have and struggling to wean it down, I’m in no buy on wax or candle! so my husband says lol, I’m on a mission to not buy wax or candles until I get it down to more then half down, I store mine in bins by seasons and fragrance under my stair closet
I keep my Scentsy collection in clear plastic bins. It's not the best because I have to go digging when I'm trying to find something, so I need to figure out a better way. I have heard that I should store my bars laying down because they can get juicy, so they are stacked in my bins (not just tossed in). I'd rather store them the way that you do, but because I have so many, I worry about them getting juicy and leaking because I don't get through them quickly enough, and I think there are certain scents that do tend to juice up after some time. I do love those Alex drawer systems by Ikea and have been pondering getting a couple to put my Scentsy and vendor wax in. I keep all of my wax - candles and melts - in my finished basement because it's cooler down there all year long. I've only tried a few of the bricks so far - Blue Grotto, Orange Spice & Everything Nice, and Very Snowy Spruce. All performed pretty good. I also have Vanilla Buttercream, Sugar Cookie, and Holly Jolly Cider in bricks and while I haven't warmed them, they do smell pretty strong on cold. I hope I continue to have good luck because I've heard this about the bricks (that they tend to be weaker) and I have a hard enough time scenting my townhouse because it has three levels with very wide open spaces where the staircases are at each end of the house, so it's tough! I have a TON of warmers because of that! Do you find that the longer your bricks sit, the better they perform? Interesting that I don't get any spices when I warm Orange Spice & Everything Nice. I get all sweet orange. And, I'm not mad about it. I bought multiple bricks and clubbed the bar, and plan to warm it in the summer, too! 😂 I can't remember, do you like BBW's Winter and HomeWorx Sweater Weather candles (which smell quite similar)? I warmed OS&EN while burning those, and it gave me some extra orange, which I enjoyed. Really am enjoying the storage videos. I love watching how others store their wax and candles - gives me ideas!
I've always loved scented things, but for some reason, when I rediscovered Scentsy in 2022, I went nuts. Then I went on a vendor spree... and I don't melt enough! Now I have tubs full of wax. Plus hoarder tendencies, makes for a Situation! Through you & a few other YTers, I'm determined to make this a Project Use It Up year & Enjoy my scents!
When you said, “ Now I have tubs full of wax. Plus hoarder tendencies, makes for a Situation”, I felt that with every fiber of my being! 😂😂 I’m in the same boat…. And it could sink with all this wax 🥴
@@mrs.i.one12 Lady, the FOMO is real! I tell myself... I have to save it, what if I can't get it again?! Now, it's getting to a time of, What if it goes bad?😆
Great storage! I love caramel chestnut myself, but if you aren’t sure about it maybe you could mix it with candy apple in the fall? Might make a nice caramel apple scent! I loved the Christmas tree bricks too! I got a couple and they were the first bricks I ever broke down and bought. Too cute!
So my for the most part my OCD will not allow me to put clamshells back that is half finished. I will ALWAYS try to use up the last few cubes in a clamshell rather than putting it back. I have about 10 warmers out at any given time so finding a place for another cube or two is not an issue lol!
@@MrKongsMom I have a storage space for my bars and then I have a separate drawer for all of my partial clamshells that I like to try and use up first because I also can’t put the partials back
I've had them like this for a couple of years now and have never had any issue. My SUPER old Vanilla Oud had a bit of oil at the bottom but that was the only one and I think honestly that was more because of the age of that bar. I am able to get far more into the baskets by storing them this way. My consultant actually stores them on a hanging trifold display type system. For sure do what works best for you tho. I just don't have the room to store outside of this system here.

OMG - yes, you've got to talk Lisa into this... can you imagine? Of course you can because you've visited! But, we can't imagine! 🤣
It's something for sure lol! But I will give my girl mad props, she's organized as all get out and uses ALL of it haha!

That is awesome! Yeah, Lisa will get ya lol! I am not a consultant either, just a fan of the brand. I love the consistency of Scentsy.

Great collection. I love the bricks. Some of them don’t perform as well. I do think the clubbed bricks are weaker.
Thanks for chiming in on the bricks!

I think the club bricks aren’t as strong or long lasting as the bars. Tfs!

What do you do with your partial clams? Or do you always use a full bar when you warm scentsy?

I was told not to store your wax standing up like you have, as the oil will go to the bottom of the bar , & loose your fragrance on top of the bar
