Hannah Louise Poston (another TH-camr) said it best - I value my space as much as my stuff. I value the gaps between my things, as much as my things. Great job in 2023 - that's a lot of makeup empties! I've been working on the same foundation and concealer for about 3 years and I only have 1 of each, so 2024 looks like it will get expensive when I need to replace them. But perhaps they'll hold out until next year!

I find I have to put multiple layers of top coat over textured polish or it drives me bonkers. 🤪 I bet that feels great to get all of those perfume samples out of your house. YAY! Glad you found the NYX jumbo eye pencil!!

What about the eyeshadow in the Clinique quad from Better Together? Didn’t you finish that, too?!

I think I counted it as one of the 5 I finished last year, but forgot to mention it. 1 Clinique shadow, 1 from viseart and 3 from elf 100 pan palette.

I know what you mean about chipping away at stuff. Last year I chose 2 primers to use to get them to the point that I would (hopefully) be able to finish them this year. I also picked out a foundation to use during Graveyard Project Pan to get a head start on it for this year. Last year wasn't a "use it up" year for those items, but this year can be.

I got a sample perfume of Juliet's Got A Gun "Lady Vengance" from ScentBox and it has become my staple perfume!! Everyone compliments me on it! I think it will definitely be an empty soon. And probably a repurchase! 😅

I think it does not seem like a lot but maybe that is because you did not include all the empties in pallets and specifically face pallets
