They will last a while but will spread again , its a good tool there for pushing the pins and taking in the links again I did a good bit mainly on Berco chains and indeedKkomatsu chains but like any steel to steel they eventually wear out ,, big old job changing over pads , grousers its heavy work,, working on running gear on a dozer , and the bigger the machine the heavier the stuff gets so its a heavy lifting job without the proper equiptment all the best guys

Yeah exactly it just last few months on hard soils if dozer works on sand or dirt it can last longer. After that we put new sets of tracks.

Better weld those pins in. The links are stretching. They will just walk again.

Sealed and lubercated tracks, so welding will reduce life!
