both AC SWEEP and AC SWEEP MULTI SINE are giving bode plots. so what is the difference?

Excellent video, thanks for share it!!, i would like to know how to do this with the inner loop of the PFC_Boost to obtain the open loop frequency response. Thanks.

How can I decrease the time of simulation of AC Sweep? Because in my PSIm it last so many time to reach the results of Mag e phase.

Try using the multi-sine sweep or reducing the number of simulation points.

the difference is how they get generated the m-sine sweep is typically faster. Both approaches are fairly robust but both can encounter issues with certain circuit types and sweep parameters. It is up to the user to use and understand the bode plot outputs

hello nice video...i am trying to do a ac sweep with flyback converter but i cant get it to run....not sure if it is because of grounding i tried with/ without grnds and tried using different models but nothing seems to work...when i start the simulation nothing really happens and when i stop the simulation the sim grapher crashes....can you please help me out thanks ....

+Srinivas s it is difficult to troubleshoot a problem like this through youtube comments. Of note the AC sweep probe is ground referenced, if you are looking to view the response of the output voltage vs the reference you will need to use a voltage sense element first as the secondary of your transformer should not be grounded to the primary.

i would want to know how work wattmeter in psim, anyone can help me?

+Thiago Souza The wattmeter element has a filter, you will need to specify this filter, depending on how quickly your load is changing. For a 60Hz system a cutoff of 30Hz is acceptable, for a DC system 20 Hz. You can play around with the cutoff to see what happens. The element needs to be inserted in series with the source or load.

+PSIM i need know how the wattmeter work, because i will simulate a circuit 3ph with the 2 wattmeter method, and i dont know how i can assembling the circuit, show me how i should ride the circuit, thanks

Nice video. I have a special request. Is it possible to do AC sweep along with parametric sweep? Take a case of the above example with only modification of loop is closed. now I want to do AC sweep for the converter at different input voltages say 10V, 12V and 14V. is it possible to do it in one run and plot the bode for three voltages in one plot?

+Dibyaranjan Senapati yes, you can do a parameter sweep with AC sweep. Also, you can do it with scripts for more flexibility.
