I main with Gief. You have to work so fucking hard to get in with him. When people actually know the matchups, it's hard to win with him. His main tool to do damage is so punishable. Slow walk. Slow dashes. Can almost never get Oki off wake up. But when you do finally lay some hands on your opponent, it's rewarding.

So I don‘t know what makes this spd so unfair. If he gets you while he has vt activated, that‘s his reward and your punish.
Zangief dominates kage because the shadow lord has to get in your face to run his game. But in zangief's face is NOT where you want to be. [Cough,cough-command grabs, pile driver- ahem]
Kaga is weak compared to akuma they both have same health but akuma has insane damage combos with out ex kage can't even achieve that unless he wastes a lot of ex and also has combo into demon that's the only thing kage has over akuma apart from that he is a shitter dumped down version of akuma his tatsu can't even get past sonic boom were akuma can
yeah you have to pretty much always need be + or lose to command grab... as a Juri main my options is fireball and snipe him out of the air with AA's and charged v skill, charged v skill vs lariat is kinda a coin flip>_

You can tell someone is a scrub, average, good player, very good player, and pro player. You will notice the difference in the players, no matter what character they pick. But sure Itazan got just lucky and got 3rd place at evo in s2 because he‘s a scrub. He has major weaknesses like slow walk speed, slow jumps, slow dashes, no wakeups/dp, slow normals. Admittedly his crouching LP is pretty good though. He's easy to play as but hard af to win with. And his SPD isn't always easy to execute considering you have to do a full analog rotation without jumping by accident. Try and play with him some more and you'll see what I'm talking about. Watch how everyone zones you out. How they run away the entire match and how you'll end up having to chase them from one end of the screen to the other. That's why he does so much damage. Because you have to eat so much damage to in order to get close to your opponent.
