Well remember LTG bans anyone who dissents or supports his opponents. So his chat is a highly curated group of conditioned betas and narcissists who gas him up. Anyone else gets strictly eliminated. So either out of delusion, or out of anxiety of being banned, they comply. This is how narcissists condition the people around them, they mentally jail you into an illusion where you believe you are somehow special because you survived their narcissistic assault.

If Zangief is consistently grabbing you out of the *air* you are doing something wrong. His air grab doesn't even vacuum you in like Chun Li's or whatever, he basically has to actually touch you, which you can stop by hitting a button. The fact that all of his SPDs also reset him to neutral is a dream come true for JP. LTG is also treating this game like SF4, where everything is some kinda frame trap. Jab, jab, into medium punch or whatever is always going to have a gap in this game, and SPD is 5 frame startup. If you're on autopilot you're gonna get got. He just couldn't break out of the flow chart.
He’s treating it like how he REMEMBERS SFIV was, but SPD was WAY more masheable in blockstrings in IV. Hell it was masheable on wake-up, thing had invul it seemed (don’t actually recall the properties but I wouldn’t doubt it). It’s worse in every way in 6 and he still struggles. I tend to get really tilted fighting grapplers in fighting games, especially Zangief. But seeing how fucking hard Zangief has to work just to get in, and seeing how everytime he grabs you, it essentially resets the fight to neutral. I'm beginning to feel like I need to chill out.

You can’t stop an aerial grab. Once he’s close while you jump you will get grabbed unless you do a quick kick beforehand

There was once in SF5 where he was playing Gill (a high skill character in his own words) and he got cooked and outclassed by a mirror Gill. He said something very uncharacteristic, which was ‘I’m not even mad’. Still confused as hell about that moment.

Those were not real blockstrings tho. you can blockstring with some jabs and lights or Drive rush, but a bunch of mediums just aren't a real blockstring. you ASKING to get command grabbed TBH.

The fact that Dale thinks JP not only loses to Zangief, but is one of his worst matchups, basically invalidates all his opinions regarding SF6.
I think this man is a slave to his own audience at this point. If he doesn’t maintain this level of showmanship for his viewers he risks losing his source of income.
