    7:10 Isn't Cv the dervative of U with respect to the derivative of T (at constant V)?

    Hello sir, if I am deriving this equation U2 and U4. I noticed that expansion is negative work: so U=q+(-pdV) for U2 whereas q = 0 so U= -w and in U4, compression, work is positive so by that U4=q+pdV. I can now cancel both pdV due to opposite sign conventions leaving me with q for two internal energies under adiabatic so q=0. So U total = 0-pdV+0+pdV. Please rate this if I am correct or should I follow rules of calculus.
