    A message from Kristine, founder of NurseInTheMaking📣
    My name is Kristine and I survived nursing school…and you can too!
    Nurse In The Making was inspired during my time in nursing school. I immediately struggled and decided to create my own study guides. These guides have helped me personally as well as many others make nursing school just a little more manageable.I hope you find comfort knowing that everyone struggles at times. Nursing school is emotionally and physically draining. I hope these informative, clean, and simple guides help you navigate through all the information because there is A LOT of it in nursing school.
    Happy Studying Future Nurses. Don't forget to enjoy the journey!

    I thought interstitial fluid was outside the cells and intracellular fluid is inside the cells. Help?

      *Correction * - Third spacing is the nonfunctional area between the cells! Sorry for any confusion and thank you to those who brought this to my attention. Unfortunately, I can't edit the video, so I will pin this comment to the top for everyone! I also noticed the typo "overdehydrtated" - this should say overhydrated! 💛

    I think making videos for each section in your bundle is great it helps me follow along better. And reading something is wayyyy different than having it explained. So even more videos about the content in your bundles would be amazing.

    You're helping me through RT school, too!!!!! These videos are the most well done, professional, full-bodied videos I've ever found online. In addition, Kristine is a REALLY GOOD orator. No fluff, all point, great timing, descriptive body language. I've already ordered content from you're site and I feel like I have an edge already because Im not spending hours making diagrams. Thank you SO much!

    Found my way here going down a rabbit hole about sepsis and septic shock suffered from it due to a UTI that was nearly asymptomatic until I went to bed and it hit my kidneys 9 hours later Can confirm very hellish lucid fever dream, everybody stay hydrated. great video honestly very informative in a very easy to process way

    • @shoanchowdhury3139
      @shoanchowdhury3139 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crazy my mom just suffered septic shock in her visit to the ER because they just put her on a IV drip from 2pm to 8pm then doctors tell me she had a cardiac arrest that could’ve happened from the septic shock because her white blood cell count was too high. This all from a UTI that’s been reoccurring for 2 months and no anti biotic was working. It’s starting to seem like her body was already weak from the UTI and the hospitals negligence of just putting her on a saline drip for 6 hours (43 years old-100lbs} also seemed to have caused hypervolemia. UTIs really are serious, now my mom has severe anoxic injury with only some brain stem function. The delay of care and negligence of hospitals in nyc are wild.

    I don't understand difference between hypervolemia and hypovolemia in terms of increased heart rate .... please explain

    • @NurseInTheMaking
      @NurseInTheMaking  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, Priya! In Hypovolemia, they have a high heart rate because the heart is trying to compensate and push fluid forward since the body desperately needs it. In Hypervolemia they also have a high heart rate because there is so much fluid in the system, so the pulse will be bounding! They both have high heart rates, but they are for 2 different reasons. I hope this helps 🙂-Kristine
