    I want to learn hindi to reclaim my Indian heritage. My dad is Tamil and a quarter telugu and my mum is north Indian. I was offered to learn hindi by my mum once but I rejected her offer. Now I'm willing to learn that language as I am starting to cherish that part of me

      You are lucky. I wish I would've had parents like that. One from north india and one from south india. Then i could've learnt and understood two different languages

      It is upsetting when people don’t even think about learning another language, especially when you family speaks another one. I am glad you are learning Hindi and good luck, I know you can become fluent. My grandfather is Iranian so I am learning Farsi, IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

      Mate, we don't speak proper English in England either, and we're a much smaller country.

    You need a lapel mic -- your space is so reverberant or full of echo, it is almost impossible to understand you --
    Just a technical tip - Close microphone!

    Hello. The name तंजील is pronounced "Tanjeel" with the "j" for "jeep" or the "s" for "vision"?

    • @adam-cs6qb
      @adam-cs6qb 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think you spelled it right,
      I have heard that name before and it's spelled as Tanzil
      in modern Hindi you are supposed to add a nukta(dot) under ज /ja to make it ज़ /Za

    NAMASTE! Pretty language...i was just curious because my work has third party reps calling me all day from india...i have more respect for them now going from this relatively simple language to English with any success. English is so complex and it doesn't make sense! Hindi makes so much sense i almost knew the words meaning before you defined it and i never learned a word before this video! DHaNyavaaD!

    Mujhe muaf karo means forgive me. Please forgive me would be Meherbani se mujhe muaf karain.
    Both Muaf and Meherbani are Urdu terms which are distinguishing aspects between the two languages - Hindi borrows heavily from Sanskrit. Both languages are baased upon Prakrit and Brijbasha and have evoked separately with Urdu contributing Hindi, Hindu and Hindustan to the world including the followers of Vedic religion who resided in Indus Valley/Sindh or Sindhu Persianised as Hindu, originally a geographically located term not a religious epithet.
