Jodie foster is an amazing raconteur, the humour and wit with she narrated such a traumatising childhood event is exceptional

@@Denis-89 Most people respond to trauma with humour, plus it was YEARS ago.

I think humour comes later in life when you get perspective

I love Jodie. The old guard were so classy and they all had such distinctive features while these actors now look so everyday, put everything out there and are so boring. You go Jodie♥️

Ngl I kind of want to see Wanda Sykes fighting a lion now. I think she'd have a chance.

Don't know about now, but Wanda certainly wouldn't have stood a chance against a lion at the time Jodie Foster was mauled at age 9. Ms. Sykes was only 7-8: herself.

Yeah, but if she was as spunky and hardass as she is now, and if Jodi had been a friend, she almost certainly would have been running towards the lion and not away. And given the lion a run for her money, too.

I am surprised they didn't have the trainer brief people on big cat behavior before filming, running from those lions is just going to trigger their hunting response....
