For how much money you all paid for coverage you should negotiate a deal with dgpt not to post the winner on socials until 24hrs after you post coverage. I don’t need to hear all the “no spoilers in live sports” comments, the fact is some people prefer to watch Jomez vs the live coverage and knowing the winner ahead of your videos is a huge bummer. You can’t really stop the random people that somehow feel cool ruining other peoples enjoyment but you could at least stop your partners. Maybe even turn off comments for the first day too…
Jomez, y'all do this almost every tournament: FIX YOUR PLAYLISTS!! It's impossible to watch a tournament from start to finish without interruption when the videos are out of order! I'm honestly shocked that this error is so consistent and no one has dealt with it or even seemed to notice

I know some people do not like this format. But I love it for the tour finale. Every single throw, scramble and putt feels so much heavier than a normal tournament. The tension feels so much higher. With such a isolated group of the top of the top players, it is so damn fun to watch.

I like it, especially the Finals. One thing though is I wish we could see the scores on the other cards throughout the play just as the players see them. Because it's match play, that is part of what makes it exciting since the competition is every moment.

In this tournament there was an elimination format that resulted in only 4 finalists, and their previous round scores weren’t factored in. Each round is scored separately and the best advance.
I love Jomez, and only purchased a DGN membership for one month to watch USDGC. I did, however, watch this final round live. Gotta say, the drama and emotion of the round is lost in post-produced coverage. Like on the hole where Ricky thought he was parked but the disc trickled down the hill. The anticipation of seeing his reaction and his actual reaction on live coverage added so much. He fumed for 20 minutes and it fueled his comeback. Also fun to watch Gannon and Isaac interact as friends throughout the round. Sexton was also on commentary, which was great. Had a nice send off at the end of each round to those who didn’t make the cut.
18 was only birdied twice the whole weekend. Ricky goes and birdies it twice in a row WITH the added pressure of both must make putts. That's just nuts!
The best players didn't play until the last days. 18 is an outlier in a technical course. It's pretty much the only hole that favors power over all else.
Every round before this one I thought 18 is terrible and should be shorter, but now I see why they designed it this way. It is a bad hole for 90% of the field, but doable for the big arms. I do think it would be fun to have a different playoff.

I'm just beyond green with jealous rage and joy that Ricky has that 400ft+ forehand from stand still and short run up, and it's even like a, backup plan for him at times. Scramble King is King even when not scrambling at times. Great season for all these guys and just overall this season was action packed. Great follow up to Holy Shot 2021 Hype train.

So sad to see the season end. Seems to go so fast. I'm glad there are more channels to cover the sport because there are so many good players that sometimes if not for 2nd card coverage, you'd never see certain people play. Hardly got to see Kevin Jones this year on coverage for example. Haven't seen Drew since the beginning of the year. There is so much talent in the field.
Paul and Ricky are the best disc golfers in the present time….and have been over the course of the last decade. Paul has the edge with more world titles, but both are on the top of the disc golf world. That says a lot because the competition is fierce.
Cool to see two legends of the sport still killing it a decade plus into their careers. I think these guys are so good and so competitive that they will be able to contend in any tournament until their bodies physically can't keep up anymore.

I feel like Paul Macbeth once it gets in a hard spot it really gets to him and he really can't come out of the slump but if he can stay on top the whole time slaughterfest slaughterfest all day long. I feel like he's so hard on himself that once he messes up it gets to him so much that it screws the rest of his game up He's so emotional

Live coverage said 420' on ricks approach, I knew it had to be longer cause he rarely puts full stank on a forehand, and I love to finally see him forced to just grip and rip one like this, such a beautiful sight.

Ricky won because he has a monster forehand that earned him strokes in a situation where he had to push his limits to stay in the tournament. He won because Isaac despite his many talents just doesn't have the big forehand he can trust like Rick's. I wonder if Isaac works hard on his forehand after this defeat, seeing what a tool in his arsenal it could become

The 200' hole is underrated. You can make gaps crazy tight, create small islands, and make the greens really punishing. 11 has 2 out of three. Plus they're great from a land use perspective.

Enjoy the comments about 11. I play a course for league so like ten times a year with rotation that has a 230. Tight at end but oh my word it is right there. Believe the "it is right there" and didn't get it for first few times it is now in my head. Have not gotten a birdie on that hole. It owns me emotionally and spiritually at this point.
Despite Paul not playing well, giving his disc to that kid on 18 is a win in my book. He might be painted as the disc golf villain because he's usually the guy to beat, but I couldn't think of a more deserving person to be the face of disc golf to grow the sport and get the next generation excited for the sport

Should have never come down to that. He practically gave it away with uncharacteristic mistakes down the stretch.
Sad the season is over but this tournament was such a great way to finish it. Jomez absolutely killed it this year. Can't wait for the 2023 season 🙌🙌

I didn't see Mrs. McBeth there. I remember seeing Paul play a terrible USDGC round one year when she wasn't with him. I sense a trend.
