Excellent video Andy mate and a fantastic Tanuki. This is going to look great in 5 years time! Also thats a very poetic collaboration that you did with our good friend John. Adds some depth to why do what we do the trees and the memories that they evoke.
Incredible production and an even better design. i never thought about using a nail gun for holding the whips - great idea. The balance of story telling, music and bonsai craft was probably your best ever yet. Thank you :)
Great video Andy. The Tanuki looks fantastic and will grow better with age. John’s poetry and back story were beautiful. Thanks for the shout out Andy, and the Treemasons intro.Very enjoyable content indeed. I have a memory that will worm its way into my bonsai at some point. It has haunted me for most of my years.
Just thought i would mention that the Poetry was all Andy. With permission i changed not even 5% of it. It was well written with a lot of heart. I merely did the voice over. Andy has a lot of vision and is very inspiring.
@@Bonsaicrazy a bit scary for a 7 year old, but just a mysterious discover I made while exploring in the woods in the early 60’s. A lot of atmosphere surrounds the memory. It’s something I want to reproduce in miniature if possible someday.
You do some mighty fine work with this piece of wood. You are another Michelangelo. Nice work on the bottom of the pot and the planting. You are a true bonsai master.
Andy, that was very well put together. It was very exciting to see the final image come together. i particularly liked the way you stayed on the Tanuki when the story was done. ( really drove home the story and the work on the tree). Many things have driven us to Bonsai and it is a blessing that you have shared one of those with us. Beyond next level Andy, many emotions off of this one.💚👊
Awesome production Andy. I'm so inspired and at the same time learning so much from you, amongst others that i follow. I've been collecting some pieces an😊d will be attempting to Tt❤
Cool mate couple of mistakes I think I’ve learnt Possibly the wrong soil Should have used a mix of pumice and Coco qua or pine bark mix Instead I used pumice, larva rock , Kiriu and garden soil. Should be fine but I am second-guessing myself. so just make sure you get the right soil and best of luck with it mate I’m glad I inspired you 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
Wow! Can’t wait to see how it looks over the seasons. Did you pin nail the young trees to the deadwood? I found you thanks to Xavier. Keep up the amazing work!
@@ScottTheExperimentalist I did now them to the Tree but unfortunately they all died on me this year so I have to restart with some fresh trees in spring. It was very gutting. Thanks for coming over from Xavier’s it’s appreciated fella . I’m currently working on a big concept for my board Cypress trees hopefully will come out after Christmas when I’ve got the trees in the pot. Thanks for watching mate.👊👊👊👊👊

Never been a fan of tunaki - you have to be carful as the tree at the base will rot rather fast
Yeah gonna be super careful dude definitely
