look how they massacred my boy...
Who’s they though?
Godfather 😂
@@Bonsaiflyok Kanye chill 😂
There's more but the video stopped in a bit they're going to chop the roots down
@@Bonsaiflybecause through pain comes transformation... The caterpillar does not like being trapped in the cocoon for so long. but yet he does it. It's the only way to fly.
yall laughing but wait 2 years
Me: 💀
After 2 years it becomes gorgeous
Wait 2 weeks...till it dies lol.
All things grow
2 yrs itll be back to its original shape they dont hold their shape because they contain alot of sap and they are not hardy
Don’t picture what it looks like now but what it will look like in the future.
Exactly!
@@Bonsaiflydo you have any update?
@@j.h.9832 not yet. It’ll be featured again though
@@BonsaiflyI was curious and wanted to ask, as I’m very interested in getting into making my own bonsai tree; how is it going?
@@deanharstad5404 the tree is doing very well :) I am letting it grow for now, so it gains some size
Hey, that’s the tree from a Charlie Brown Christmas! I knew I recognized it.
Guys the tree is fine it will look like this again soon it’s just pruning not cutting everything and this is how bonsai trees started they will look like a old tree but tiny and this is the process
Not Nature/Not Natural..🤷🏼♀️Why Do It..There Is 0 Reason..And Thats Not Pruning
@@PafMedicyou mega dumb
@@PafMedic💀 Are you sure that's not pruning that's bonsai that's what all bonsai are kid
@@PafMedic"why do it?" Because it's an art form. It imitates what trees look like in nature on a small scale. It does not compensate the tree's health either. It literally gets better care than if it was growing outside.
@@PafMedic why do you feel the need to criticize something that isn't hurting anyone? It's art and makes people happy, find something more worthy of criticism 😂
I always wondered how to make a bonsai of out a cone shaped plant.
Now you know ✨
That looks so good I always worried about if I’m taking of the right branch
Before cutting 🙎🏻
After cutting 👨🦲
THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHHH! I was looking to buy a bonsai and what do you know, I have four of these out back! Great video thanks
Lots of posts by people with absolutely ZERO understanding of what’s going on here.
True and sad. Hopefully some will look beyond the hateful comments and see that the practice of bonsai is supposed to harmonize with the tree ✨🌱
My man got braids 😂
How long do the wires normally need to stay on before the plant will support itself in the shape?
Depends on the type of tree and how vigorously it grows the next season. At least a year though
That’ll look mint soon 👌
I literally have a small Alberta Spruce with triple trunks that I'm going to style on camera. The weather finally broke and I'm getting ready to set up now! Great video and perfect timing..it will be my first!
Nice! Give it a go!
I'm kinda scared cutting plants. I feel like they might not recover.
There is absolutely no need to worry. As long as you leave some green on the plant you'll be fine. And in some cases only a bulb is needed. Plan6are built to adapt to a loss of a few stems and can even grow out fuller. Just look up how to do it correctly
My dog once chewed my acer to the bare bone, I was thinking of throwing it away but just was curious, and next season it had leaves everywhere.
The little buggers are much more resilient that people are willing to give credit, and why you can have such beautiful bonsai if you’re willing to give it enough time. ^^
The audio is so calming 🌳

I look forward to this beautiful future
A friend of mine had a bonsai business... It was very successful.
So successful in fact that he had to move to a smaller premises❗
Thanks for the … encouragement? 😄
The tree: 🐩
A poda transforma a planta por completo 😊
This is an absolutely beautiful result and I can't wait to see how the tree progresses! Super inspiring!!
Absolutely staggered at the display of ignorance in the comments 💀
I am glad you like it :) I think I’ll show it again in spring or so.
Fr, the people in the comments act like they never cut or picked a plant (cough cough grass and flowers)
I tried bonsai from garden stores before and couldn’t keep them alive. What’s your secret? I was always terrified to remove too much in one clipping but when I did a hard pruning I killed it. Do you prune and let it recover then repot the next year? Or do you repot then trim the next year? How much can a spruce take in one go? Thank you!
Not sure this one will make it tbh
It’s not really a secret but I only perform one big action per year. I prefer to repot first and then wait a year and then style, but sometimes I do it the other way around.
And yes, this one is still alive
@@Bonsaifly I’m certain it’s still alive. I had no doubts. I killed mine because I went too hard and was impatient. Thank you for the reply!
Why is there a big advertisement that drops down In the middle of the video?
Because it’s a video that has been sponsored by a grow light company called Marshydro. It’s how I am able to keep these videos going
How many times do you get pricked doing that ? Looks great 🌲
Thousands
Looks like snoopy Christmas tree
I think it’s a great job in time it will be awesome 🌲🌲🌴

Great Job, thanks for share.
Is a Juniperus stricta?
You’re welcome!
No, this is a Picea Conica, commonly they are called dwarf Alberta spruce I think
@@Bonsaifly thanks for clearing It up
Great. Beautifully done. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here from Sikkim, India
Thanks 😊 glad to have you here!
is this a how to torture a bush video?
Basically 🫣
Dont act like you dont cut your grass every week
This is a "Tell me you know absolutely nothing about horticulture" comment!" 😅
thats so true i have no idea about cutting bushes. 😄
What is the reason for keeping the lower branches? And why should we peel them?
Creating deadwood features from branches that aren’t going to be kept adds age to the tree
Can you propagate the cuttings into other plants? Great tutorial- thank you!
At least the ones that aren’t too thick yet for sure
Can it be moved to a different smaller pot? You know, a classic large but short pot
Yes of course!
What tree is this?
Nace bro.❤
Simplified instructions: Prune like crazy. Bend wire around branches; bend to shape, and repeat. Right?
Basically 😂✌🏻
Sehr schön 👌🏼
Danke dir! :)
What time of year are you pruning this tree? During winter dormancy? Or early spring when showing signs of new growth?
In spring
Mars hydro are good lamps I have many
Next time you buy one you can use the code BONSAIFLY, just fyi
It looked healthier n the beginning
Whats your point?
That's part of the art. With bonsai, you intentionally prune and feed the tree such that it has enough nutrients to be healthy and survive, but not enough to grow big.
They always look worse before they look better with time it will grow into a stunning tree
It's always darkest before the dawn
@@GabetheGuruit’s not that it doesn’t have enough nutrients to get big they just prune it and keep it in the wires
Please guide us with all requirements and name of plants.
This one is a Picea Conica. What you’ll need is scissors, concave cutters, wire and cut paste. All the other tools you can use help but aren’t necessarily needed
I really like how you answer people's questions
What kind of soil can be used for a juniper bonsai?
How long until you take off the wiring?
I let it on until I see that it’s biting in. With broadleaf trees you have to be more cautious
Just bought a lil ficus, (like 4inches tall 😂) any advice on getting it started into a bonsai? 🥰

Yep.
Care to show us how the tree turned out after many months?
I will definitely show it again. Probably when it is repotted next spring. This year I let the tree recover its strength

What kind of pine is this?

Alberta spruce
What is the name of this tree ?
Gunther (sorry I couldn’t resist 😂)
what tree is this?
Dwarf Alberta spruce. Don't do this to them. You'll most likely kill it. They're very tender plants. If you want one, just plant it in a garden or yard.
@@leaf2180 thanks sir for information, thought all spruce family really good for bonsai

Why did you strip the bark off of that branch?
To give the appearance of age. Maybe lightning hit the tree in a storm many years ago…..
To hang the washing on 😄🌳

Telling the barber you want it trim 👴🏾
The Temu Bonsai.....
So hurtful 🥲
This is beautiful and I see these small “Christmas trees” at my local supermarket all the time. So after doing so much pruning would you keep the plant in its original pot so the roots remain together while the plant “repairs” itself or would you repot it to a bonsai style pot? Thank you sorry for the questions I just find it quite inspiring I would like to try 🌲
Definitely wait a good couple of months, especially with spruces
wooowww
That was not it.
🎉😂😂🎉
Nice plant

Hello, I have a quick question that I hope somebody can help me with.. Can a young juniper survive if there is a ring of bark removed from the base of the trunk? I bought a Chinese juniper (Stricta) from a nursery and while wiring it I accidentally managed to strip basically a complete ring around the base of the trunk, the strip is about 1cm high and goes around the whole base of the trunk (😳) I didn’t realise quite how delicate the bark would be and I can’t find much online in terms of what to do.. Will it survive? Should I tape up the wound to stop moisture getting in? Any help is much appreciated!
Sometimes tape can lock moisture in and causing rott. Just keep any eye on it blow any standing water off the injured part, best you can. Never know it could turn out to be a beautiful scar character that's just my advice don't hold me to it your best friend is a library!! good luck." Trying and failing,is only a failure if you continue failing"
@@Handplanesmooth thank you, yep I’m deciding to leave it be and see what happens, I also had the same thought about the scar.. if it survives haha.. hopefully!
You have made an air layer by mistake 🌳
Rap a bag filled with moss around it for 6 mouths or until it roots 👍👍👍🌲
