@@LokiAvivson The 158s are also quite nice. I'd rather a 150 or even a 153 any day of the week over a 197 just for the more comfortable Chapman seats, even if the train sounds like it's falling apart! (I also have some fond memories of travelling on 150s when I was younger, back when they had all those wacky interiors with Arriva - the original ex-Wales and Borders interior, ex-Wessex Trains and the original ATW refurb with the "castle" murals at the end of the carriages!) If they still ran Pacers, I'd probably prefer those over the Civities having Chapman seats - the ride wasn't really an issue for me because I mostly rode them over well-maintained track.
I miss these so much, they were the best thing that ever happened to the Maesteg line. Cannot stand the 197s with those horrendous seats.

Greater Anglia moquette you mean? as this unit started with Greater Anglia before transferring to Transport for Wales in 2019 then to EMR in 2023
