This is an amazing performance of amazing music. It is hard to believe that Mozart was only 14 when he wrote this opera. I wonder if it was Leutgeb's horn playing that inspired him to write such a wonderful horn obligato part. This is truly inspired music!

Ann Murray really is a very elegant and intelligent artist. I have been a great admirer for about 30 years. The miracle is Mozart writing this aged 14. We have children of that age now who can barely write their own names.
I have news for you most children and adults for that matter in the 18th century were illiterate. Mozart is always an exception and never the rule. DUH.
