Also, I’m not sure if meaty Jesus got it from challenger Andy but he also did the 0 button press jumping cheese to ceaseless discharge.

I love how Lemon has evolved from 'hey it's Lemon' intros, into a narrator that draws your interest in the story he has to tell, with the way that story is told. I've been a fan for years, and I really think you have a gift for crafting stories to go with the challenge runs you upload
Andy, absolute gigachad. 130 points, Most of it on level 1... WHILE AWAY FROM HIS COMPUTER. Also, Meaty Jesus, for reloading a Manus fight just to get the maximum points. That's some insane determination. GG to Andy, Meaty Jesus, and all the other participants. Legends.
Both of them were absolutely insane man. Both maxed out scores, killed Four Kings, killed Ceaseless without Dark Bead. Andy did it mostly at level 1 while playing on something as strong as a PSP, and Meaty reloaded his Manus fight after he finally killed him because he needed to avoid hit trading to get the extra point.
The Plateau part made me laugh in a ridiculous shrieky way that few things do. I kinda wanna see more of it. Hope you do this sort of thing again, what a fun watch.
I love that Plateau is just invisible for 90% of the video, then suddenly 'OMG he actually farmed the Dragon scales, he's insane!' It's very on brand for him.

And its just insane the amount of content that was watched and edited for this video to come out. Truly beyond impressive on everyone's ability to execute this.

The coolest part of this challenge to me was the anticipation of seeing this video in full when it finally came out. I saw Meaty Jesus's video on it back when he first posted it, along with several other videos from other channels I watch, and each one just made me more excited to see the competition on the whole. "DId you know the Reinforced Club was this viable??" Yes! It's actually my go-to sidearm for magic runs. You have your main weapon dealing your elemental choice for the run, and then the R. Club left uninfused as a non-elemental backup for anything that resists your main element (and, you know, for magic buffs for even _more_ of your main element's damage lol). It's relatively light, has Bleed, and does way more raw damage than you'd expect from a weapon of its weight class. It's really good! lol Also shoutouts to Plateau, oh my god LMAO
"Did you know the Reinforced Club was this viable?" was more in context of this challenge run. Ofc it is a great weapon on normal playthroughs, but would you expect a 4 foot stick with some nails on it to kill quelag in a single hit

What an incredible contest! I love to watch it over and over again! I play ds1 myself and have just recently discovered that you can actually kill Griggs twice too! You have to kill his hollow version in Sen's fortress and then go back to where you freed him in lower undead burg, there he will stand again in his former cell! So there could definitely be another point to gain! ❤ Keep up the great content love your creations!

I watch and listen to a bunch of these channels (yours included) right before bed to enjoy while I fall asleep, so I can't wait to watch this one night after night, making it a little longer each time.
I have been absolutely buzzing to finally see the contest video come to fruition after accidentally stumbling onto Meatys video several months ago. This was amazing to watch such feats of patience and insane behaviour. And a few new challenge run channels to boot. 10/10 lemon, no notes.
I am so thankful for this project as it got us not only this masterpiece of a video but also some of the greatest content from some of the greatest DS challenge runners on the platform. I play ds1 myself and have just recently discovered that you can actually kill Griggs twice too! You have to kill his hollow version in Sen's fortress and then go back to where you freed him in lower undead burg, there he will stand again in his former cell! So there could definitely be another point to gain! ❤
