American leaf springs are the reason american pickups Ruled and still rule that industry.
I will say I loved my 03 4.2 audi... Only issue is they are a bit over engineered in places that dont need it. More moving parts means more things that can go wrong.. When the German cars break in America they cost way too much to fix 😞 and even more to modify 😞 haha. I also fix my own vehicles but the good German parts are too expensive on this side of the world haha.

Amazing how rapidly accessible HP has become. I know these cars have had big bucks spent on them but back in 1999 when I had a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, these same Supras and Skyline R32/3s were rarely able to crack 500bhp, even with serious cash thrown at them. Very impressive. 1000hp was the stuff of dragsters and the occasional Top Secret unicorn.
I remember when 10-15psi were crazy high numbers lol. 500hp used to be mad respectable, especially in a "street" car. What a time to be alive! Lol

It is Honda all over the world, it has always been a Honda because it is a Honda. Acura is just the brand name coined for America same shit Toyota did with Lexus and Nissan with Infinity.
Little Correction tho... Lexus and Infinity are the luxury sports car branches of their respective owners.... As AMG is to Mercedes for exemple ;-)

One of my neighbours built an astra saloon limited edition with a Calibra turbo motor in it, built by Courteney Turbo - he still has it sat on his drive. Always wanted to have a ride in it but he's never really driven it! He had most of the nuts and bolts chromed, absolutely filled the thing up with waxoyl etc, clear coolant hoses and chrome engine etc etc.
Kyle is good. He can't know everything about every car, and a lot of cars have different names in different continents.

That A4/S4/RS4 was raw!
Realise, those opel cadetts (vauxhall astra) weight about 2300lb stock with interior, after stripping them out about 1900lb with no carbon fibre and they make the same power as a hellcat with an engine under 1/3rd of the size and it'll still drive to an autocross kick ass and drive home, this is what happens when you don't make cars out of lead with valve trains stolen from lawnmowers
Also leroy (vetta cart) is legal in the states with no hood or body and turbos sticking up in the air and no exhaust etc, yet in europe that audi isn't, its hard to make a car fast and legal here plus fuel is like $6.50/gallon.

The Vett cart isn't legal to be registered in the state where I live. At minimum, it would fail due to work done to disguise the original maker. I doubt any insurance company would insure this car. . . . . . . .. Each state has their own regulations for legality. Some have safety inspection, others don't but regardless, police can issue a fix it ticket or have the car towed for equipment issues.

I'm stoked to see a Kadett E. We had them as the Astra in the UK, with that model being a "mark 2". I own a "mark 4" Astra G GSi, with a similar engine (A Z20LET instead of the older C20LET). Cool to see it on 1320!

That Opel looks like a Daewoo, sold in the US in the late '80s as a Pontiac LeMans.
The Daewoo was actually a licensed Opel Kadett only slightly changed at the front. At that time the Opel wasn't even built anymore. And the Pontiac LeMans was just a rebadged Opel Kadett for the US marked, as Opel an Pontiac where both GM at the time.
Known as Vauxhall Kadet in the UK.
Opels are sold in other markets under various names. It's a Vauxhall in the UK for example. Theres also some Australian variants. You can find 80's Holdens that literally look like a slightly different Ascona, but with RWD.

You can solve all the Calibras problems by fitting a Chev. There has been a couple racing in Aussie Sports Sedans with such for close to 30 years.

Are guys sure this is half mile?? Race 1000 i think stands for 1000meter at other event in EU its 1000meter!and thats 1000m/1 mile (1609,344) = 0,621 mile event 😂😘

Acura is american made. Honda is Japan made thats y it has the H logo on it instead of the A logo. Other country beside US is honda NSX.Only Acura NSX is madE in the US.
Certain Acura's like the TL are unique to Acura and America only. The NSX though is just a rebadged Honda. 👍
It's like Infiniti with Nissan (G35/G37 are rebadged V35 Skyline 350GT/370GT) and Lexus with Toyota (LS400 = Celsior, SC300 = Soarer, IS200 = Altezza).
Acura is the American division of Honda but Some Acura’s were and still are made in Japan. My friend had a 2001 3.2CL type S that was made in Japan. Now the RLX is the only Acura still made in Japan.
