Great vlog as always. I remember playing golf in rainsuits that you could hardly move in and if it was cold then a very thick jumper underneath making you even more sweaty. Today its a total science in its own right and makes golf so much more enjoyable.
This is crazy. I've been watching you for 10 years. And to think, I started watching because I just got into the sport and needed SERIOUS help with my game. I played baseball all my life and couldn't figure out why it was so hard to hit a stupid little ball that wasn't moving on the ground. And now here you are at the UA headquarters doing big things!!! Wayne Dowding - best apparel out there. Not the cheapest, but check the outlet and you’ll get good deals. Grab a polo and a pair of golf pants and you’ll be hooked. The material they use is simply superior. Elastomer in the waist band of their golf shorts and pants is fantastic. 👍🏌️
I was just about to write about the advances in clothing and then you said it in the video, from my days as a junior with uncomfortable metal spiked shoes and sweaty waterproofs, polo shirts etc with no real mobility to the stretchy moisture wicking fabrics today is incredible - it’s amazing how far things have come as far as comfort on the course goes.
Thanks Mark and UA for taking us to part of the game we often forget about as amatures. If I feel good in my clothing then my mind is in a positive state,, which is a good thing for this game

Had never heard of under armour until a tour of Iraq in 04/05 and after visiting an American base in Kuwait we all left with heat gear tee shirts and loved the brand ever since

Very interesting and I am fairly sure you are correct. The advances in fabrics, breathability, garment cuts, shoes etc have been profound over recent years. I am very into cycling and mountaineering as well as golf and in these areas the difference in kit now from 10 years back is staggering. It makes you realise how fortunate we are to live in the current era.

Great insight behind the brand into R&D facilities that major companies use to provide good quality performing clothing gear. I also enjoyed your attempts at basketball free throw shots where I saw what you immediately spot when teaching golf students - far too low a trajectory to achieve a high percentage success even before isolating arm and wrist angles, speaking as a former coach
Talking about shirts etc I totally agree, for a few years I have worn N***, I brought a dozen at a good price, now, in our down under summer, I am wearing A****** clima cool, the difference is amazing, so I agree with you 100% about clothing and footwear.
Absolutely! The garments have come on a huge amount, recently I picked up a new rain suit from Nike, compared to 10 years ago its amazing how light it is and easy to swing.. #airmyballs😜⛳️👍

Very impressed with Under Armour. Most of us are cynical with it comes to any big companies, UA certainly opened my eyes with things that actually make sense.
Great video! I think that you should do more reviews on golf garments, it will make it easier to spend the extra money that companies like Under Armour charge us.

Clothing is so important in a game of golf. I won't wear trousers which don't have a silicone lip to hold the shirt in as you swing, for example, because without this the shirt is always tugging out. Good comfortable, breathable underwear is also so important, too. Shirts which don't bunch up or pull on swings, little things like this make such a difference to overall "feel-good" factor that it's crazy not to take them into account. Amazing looking development headquarters, as well. I'm looking forward to the review of the shoes, despite being an FJ "brah" myself. Funky guitar, too. :)
Great stuff Mark , Safe travels Home !! I love the new wick away sweat fabrics they have invented today , as here in Kansas when we play in the summer in 115 degree temps you sweat bad and this stuff just stays nice as it wicks away the sweat !

Excellent! Having played golf sine the early 1980's, I think waterproofing is one of the greatest innovations to come to the sport.
