FE fans knows that Phina is the perfect way to kill Hardin, but little do they know that real legends used Lara as a combat unit.
You can use Lara as a combat unit in her joining chapter.

Fun fact: there are only two characters that can potentially reach this game's inappropriately high 80 HP cap. One is Marty, thanks to his high base HP and ability to reach >100% growth with scrolls.
The other one is Lara. 76 levels is one hell of a drug.

In some ways, her promotion to dancer does have a potential statistical upside in that you can get more levels, which I'd never really thought of but I didn't exactly have her promoted level 20/20 by chapter 12x.
If you give her some crusader scrolls and get her to 20/20/20/20 because dancer can promote back into thief fighter she will have crazy stats…however this is fe5 where stats cap super fast and she has a FCM of 1 and only steal as a personal skill which overlaps with class skills….. at least she can end up as a thief with an average con of 19 if you do all 75 level ups with the Nal scroll.
And even that's ignoring the fact that it's a bit of a silly idea to train a dancer to do anything besides just dancing another unit that does the thing you're trying to accomplish better. I respect the hustle though, it's pretty funny seeing her actually killing things.

FE5 unironicallly is a masterpiece since you can make a unit with under 5 strength kill the final boss with the tools it brings

@@jimmyfe6746 Apperently HP 45% | Str 10% | Mag 10% | Skl 50% | Spd 70% | Lck 60% | Def 20% | Con 5% | Mov 3% so the critical slapping of a wet noodle with the speed of grease lightning.
Dancers were better here than in the GBA trilogy.
Same energy as Juni from Tearring Saga, except Juni had 0 base str with a 0% growth.

Lara is the strongest unit in all of fire emblem.
The sad fact for me is this was genuinely like one of my runs because Lara was my only bulky unit in that run so I gave her Wrath just so she would one-round on enemy phase because no one else could take a hit.

There really is something satisfying about wrecking bosses and the game in general with a "bad" unit
I respect the choice to purposely not try to alter her levels to gain str all too much (or idk maybe you're the unluckiest person in the universe)
she actually has 10% str growth; even just with Neir it's only up to 20%. though to be honest; being a child female unit they just shaft her that bad because she's the "Worst" of the game spectrum. unless you're Yubello and show the world what 50% mag in early FE games does to enemies.

Another banger. I have way too hard of a soft spot for "bad" units. I don't really think any unit is bad. Maybe rinkah in rev, but that's it really.

Why would Revelations Rinkah stand out? I mean, what about FE12 Bantu and the Wolfguard? FE6 Wendy? Hell, Lara is actually a good unit, since she's a Thracia thief and a dancer.
@@misterbadguy7325 I like Wendy, a lot actually. As for rinkah, it's more like her class line is horrible, and she doesn't fit well in ninja either. She makes an okay Fighter, but everyone does. She's a really solid knight. But talking a bout base class, she has a low ass strength growth. And requires you to baby her until around chapter 11-13 (without scouts or dlc.) Her promos are awful choices. One is basically a res boost to help kill mages, while the other doesn't benefit her that much better. Access to swords is okay, but she's never doubling, is always getting doubled, doesn't do that much damage, takes not too much physical damage. At the end of the day though, investing in her has no pay off. She makes a solid mother though, giving a massive strength boost to her offspring. But it's weird that she doesn't build that strength herself.
Tldr; she is like a breakable wall, she doesn't do damage, she doesn't double. Her bases suck, her Growths suck. But she's hot, and makes a good mother 👌

I regret not using her in my Thracia run. In my defense, it was my first run, and Lithis got 20 build without even trying. Actually it's my only run. Go Ronan.
It also hurts to think about, since strength is my favorite stat. Strong units with bad speed is usually how I'm used to meme units, except for Cord who's good at everything. 0 strength...maybe one day.

In my most recent fe5 run that im still doing, i decided using a combat Lara. I don't know what i expected when i used her, before chapter 5 i grinded on the soldiers till level 10 where she got 3 strength level ups, then did the steal exploit for infinite exp in chapter 5, ended up getting 4 more strength levels at level 20 and capped skill, speed, and luck and then promoted, giving her 10 strength. the very next map i arena abused with her to get her up to about 13 strength. chapter 12x came around and then i made her dancer again, this time i had most of the strength scrolls so she ended up capping her strength on promotion, then shortly after capped her defense, at this point she actually hadn't got con once but all a sudden i got lots of them ending up with her getting 11 con, i'm giving her a con ring which will up to it 14 soon.
in short: lara is actually very easy to use a combat unit since thief's can get infinite exp, is it efficient though? hell no. just note it for your ironman's, lithis can do the exact same thing btw.
Edit: forgot to mention she got 4 movement level ups making her have 12 movement lmao
And perne: in fact he could do it quite easily if decide to go warpskip route for chapter 12x
I am playing a randomizer of thracia currently and my lara is a lord which promoted to a hero and she got insane growths for some reason and capped almost every stat.Also 20 con thief gaming
