I grew up wandering about the the coast of North Carolina. I made up stories throughout my childhood, as I stumbled on history at my feet. I grew up to work in the theatre and became an author. I love that you make up stories for your finds. It's part of the joy of watching your videos.

Whilst I enjoy watching videos with your friends, this mudlark was a lot more relaxing without other people talking around you and I was able to concentrate more on your finds. More like this please! The stoneware bottles make lovely candle holders, with a story to tell too.

That was so cool! They have been tidying up the foreshore here in Pt Elliot, South Australia and turning over soil that's been untouched since the 1890's. I found a large fragment of a big old embossed coffee jar from the turn of the last century. It's amazing how exciting that can be. Thanks for the inspiration Si 😊😘

If you take Nic with you I think your going to need a bike with a large trailer! No, not for Nic but for all those beautiful shards of pottery she will want to bring back. The hover team could be useful too. Thought the ‘Police light was funny, “evening all”💙

I found the squat little "pork-pie" ink bottles are probably the most durable of all the stoneware items I've come across and rarely found one broken!! Oh yes, Nicola would have a field day there.

That small piece at 21:05 is incredible. The breaks frame the picture so perfectly it looks almost deliberate. And it's a depiction of a river scene, how magnificent is that

Treasures at the end of the rainbow, how appropriate . Lovely image of the ship. Oh how I love these walks. Some of those pieces are really pretty. 👍 Nic would enjoy going there.
