This pianist has a great technique and understands the nature of the piece. By his christal clear tone and the size of his hands he probably would be great at Rachmaninoff too !

Schade, dass man dermaßen begnadeten Künstler nicht in öffentlichen Auftritten begegnen kann. Ich wusste außerdem nicht, dass man einem "China-Flügel" eine solche akustische Bandbreite entlocken kann. Mich würde interessieren, ob es bereits Studien darüber gibt, wie es mit der Haltbarkeit und dem sonstigen Pflegeaufwand mit einem Feurich steht. Kann so ein Instrument mit der Qualität eines Yamahas mithalten?

Do you literally just go to every single video of a Feurich piano and make sure to comment that it's made in China? Why does that matter? Can you hear how this piano sounds?! It's incredible. Why does it matter that it's made in China?
@@fraub1 Monsieur : Je suis musicologue, et je possède un piano à queue PLEYEL 170, fabriqué en 1938 et entièrement restauré par Pianos Balleron à Paris en 2002, en noyer laqué à la main avec des détails de marqueterie. En 2013, l'usine Pleyel de Saint-Denis a fermé ses portes. Aujourd'hui, la grande marque de pianos français a été rachetée par un important homme d'affaires chinois. Les pianos Pleyel ont donc été fabriqués à nouveau en Indonésie, avec au milieu une entreprise française sans scrupules. Le résultat a été une grosse merde, une trahison de la tradition artisanale française du piano. C'est pourquoi je déteste les pianos chinois qui affichent le prestige des vieilles marques européennes sans le mériter du tout. Salutations d'Orléans, France.

The brand was subsequently bought by an unscrupulous businessman, and now the great Pleyel name appears on very poor pianos made in Indonesia. A gross betrayal of artisan French piano craftsmanship. That's why he detests Chinese pianos being marketed with the stencil names of fine old European makers. I think this is a reasonable translation, though "traduir c'est trahir" (to translate is to betray).
