@@zuzanareacts Most of the trash has been biodegradable for the longest time in human history, so throwing trash out on the soil was never a problem. It's only in the last 100 years or so that it has become a problem because if you throw something out it's not gonna decompose for a very long time. Indian society has not still evolved enough post-independence to adapt to this. For example, I remember traveling on the train once and I had a cup of tea or something, there was no trashcan on that train so I threw the cup under the seat of the train where it could be cleaned later. Not ideal I know, but there was an uncle sitting opposite to me and he got very upset, so he picked up and cup and threw it out of the running train. In his mind he did the right thing, he is trying to do the right thing trying to keep the environment clean but doesn't realize that he made the problem worse, it will be very difficult to clean it from the random train tract he threw it on compared to inside the train.
the Caste system has mostly nothing to do with reality, few politicians propagate it as a big issue for vote banks. I have never seen casteism in my whole life not even heard of it other than the internet and some puppet media. There are 1.4 billion people and we only got 850~900 cases of caste discrimination from which more than 700 cases were false and from rest cases most are politically motivated. So it's like a drop in the ocean. Also the present Indian government is doing hard to nullify casteism. But some politicians try to ignite it to capture votes by creating disputes. And Britishers started the caste system else there were varna system which were based on your profession but they used it as the fault line to achieve their motives just like any invader does.@@zuzanareacts

Your constructive feedback is appreciated. Civic sense is something India is working on and I guess with new generation coming forward we’re gonna see a huge leap forward in terms of that in next 5-10 years.. Saw your India vlogs as well, decent choice of city but don’t forget to visit Ladakh, Kerela and Himachal Pradesh in your next India trip, thank me later..
What you said about trash being thrown, its still happening but very very less compared to 10, 20 years back. Last few generations who are decently educated refrain from throwing trash. They (and I) carry it to home, if we don't find bins. So I believe as India develops, people prosper, more and more people will pay attention to civics. After indenpendence , the people were in such a state that they did not have luxury of beauty.Thier aim was survival. These bad habits were thus created and propogated.
Civic sense is something which in India really needs to be worked on. Most of the people dont care about sanity outside their house. Also there should be support provided by the municipals or govts as well. Many public places dont even have dustbins.
Ohh dear , in my country, many people are poor, and poor people only focus on managing food or daily life things . Mostly, doesn't care what's happening in the country ,or what is hygiene or unhygienic . It's like World expecting from Ukraine, build a destroyed building within 1 day otherwise we will call the country is poor . India just got independent 75 years before where only 2% population were literate . If We people enough vigilant, india is going to rule the world as a dominant world power so it's matter of some decades .things will get to start smarter in upcoming decades. This is not imagination. This is inevitable
Sometimes I think a revolution has to be done to make India clean because there is no other solution. Just a few days ago I went to the train station in my city to booka ticket, which is again being renovated and made grand. 99 percent of that station's work has been completed, but that day several bottles of beer were broken on the floor of the station's ticket counter. Now what do we call it, if the government is tough on it, we will say that this is dictatorship and don't want to voluntarily keep the country clean🙄
Hey houses r never dirty but streets are, Well I think Economics has a lot role to play. 1.4 billion people with just 3.5 trillion never gone be good. If we don't have our beautiful culture and vast climate than everyone hesitate to visit our land.

Well give it 15 more years... Some nations are on ascent. Some are on descent. People are mostly in a hurry, so getting money to home is first priority. Other things feel like luxury. West is currently going through a phase where things are settled, they have enough means to ensure hygiene everywhere, lower populations, and lot of money to make life easier, less competition. India is completely different. We are rising, we have huge population, so much diversity, too much democracy, and in torrid zone where dust jist flies around, less means to keep everything clean. As we become rich, have more time, the nation will look much better and cleaner. Just few decades ago, sewage used to flow on streets in London. It is all about the means and a bit of willingness
I've visited delhi only once. Hated the experience so much that I'd be fine never visiting that city again. Mumbai is so much more habitable compared to it. It's not the people,(kinda) it's the system/environment of that city
