- This week we're taking a look back at the 2014 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 full-size SUV to see if the third generation is worth your hard-earned used car dollars.

This week's episode of TestDrive Spotlight was made possible with the help of Excellence Auto Acton in Acton Vale, Québec. If you're interested in buying this specific vehicle check out their website: www.excellence...
The third generation Ford Expedition is new enough that some models are still available to buy certified pre-owned in 2020, while others are as old as my Ford Focus. The third generation ran from 2007 until 2017 and had a mid-cycle facelift for the 2015 model year. Our Spotlight, review, and full tour is on this 2014 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4. There were two other trims available, the Limited and King Ranch, along with a number of options and packages. Our test model is a base model in the truest sense, but one that has been incredibly well kept over the past 6 years, looking as if it just rolled off the assembly line and into our garage.
We go over the technical specifications of the Ford Expedition including what makes this differ from the Ford F-150 this vehicle's platform is based off of, what sort of options were available on the Expedition, and what sort of price you should be looking at in the used market for one of these. We go over the exterior features along with some history on the Ford Excursion and how the Expedition EL/MAX come into play.
We jump inside to go over the XLT's interior design and features, including three-zone air conditioning, a Bluetooth/MP3/SiriusXM radio system, power locks, windows, and mirrors, and power driver seat controls. Other features include an aftermarket backup camera paired with the factory rear park assist. We demonstrate how the third row egress works along with the second row cargo mode, and overall interior space.
We then take the 2014 Ford Expedition on a real world road test to go over how this full-size SUV handled, performs, and drives on the road, including the 5.4L Triton V8 engine, 6 speed automatic transmission, 4x4 mode, and the fully independent long-travel suspension. We go over the pricing between the different years available on this including the original MSRP for this vehicle.
We then conclude with a buyer's guide on the 3rd generation Expedition, with common problems and issues to look out for, what sort of complaints owners have had with these vehicles over the years, and some tops to better prepare yourself if you're in the market for one of these SUVs.

I have a 2011 with 220,000 miles. Still runs and drives like new. Use only synthetic oil and have changed all fluids with synthetic. These vehicles were built to last. These vehicles are used in commercial and government duties and perform flawlessly. Would definitely recommend.
Glad to hear it! I do like the look of this, I could definitely see myself owning one of these.
I have a 2011 EL also. 93,000 miles on it just got back from Florida put 2,600 miles on truck. Not a single problem going & coming back. Soon we will buy a 2022 or 2023.
Why do I heard about so many problems with these online? Specifically the "engine sludge" and cam phaser issues? Alot of people say to avoid the expeditions before 2015. I really want to buy a 2011 one in my area with 168k miles. But I'm afraid because I keep reading mixed reviews on these lol
@@tb-xy7lg because of ignorance or bad luck. Like I stressed, only 5w20 Synthetic oil change every 5-7k and tranny every 60k transfer case 30k diff 90-100k full Synthetic on everything. The paint is really the issue with these the hood and tailgate plus rocker door jams are prone to rust and corrosion. These vehicles will easily reach 300k with that maintenance regime.
@@tb-xy7lg if it was well maintained by the previous owner then you should definitely buy it. I own a 2011 and the only thing I've had to do is replace a fuel injector. It has over 200000 miles on it and it runs great.
Dude, you always blow me away with your smoothness, delivery and how you can recite an encyclopedia of information so seamlessly and with fluidity. A true professional at your craft! Well done!
I really appreciate that, thank you! Sometimes I luck out and find a wealth of information on community forums, this Expedition was a little tougher to research since there wasn't as much data as I'd have liked on some of the Ford enthusiast sites.
I had one just like this. Aside from the gas it was the best vehicle I ever owned, I sold it with 310,000 miles on the clock. I did have a window regulator fail and I had to replace a starter but other than that it was a beast of a truck.
Glad to hear it! Sounds like you got a lot of use out of yours.
Just bought the 09 EL last week with 219000 on it. It really is an amazing truck. Feels and looks like new, hope I can get 300000 plus out of mine.
I hope yours had the navigation package. 😎
07 limited 300k miles just did a timing job and tuneup..just an amazing vehicle
Awesome! Hope it continues to serve you well!
Just bought a 2013 EL limited with 59k miles. One owner, ford dealer serviced with full service records. It’s cherry. Going to maintain this beast for as long as we can. I just wish I could swap the captains chairs for the bench seat second row!
Enjoy it! I was looking at one of these myself in winter, couldn't find a single one for sale.
I have a 2015 XLT/King Ranch short wheelbase with the 3.5 Ecoboost. It has 130K. I bought it at 22K miles. It was some sort of a fleet vehicle originally. It's labeled as an XLT but it has all the King Ranch features.
It's good to know that 130K is nothing on these if well maintained and I am in no hurry to get rid of it.
This is the most solid and reliable vehicle I've ever owned.
Glad to hear it! Plenty of people have commented in the time since we did this vehicle and swear by the reliability on these vehicles. It's hard to find them in the used market as no one wants to get rid of them.
I have an 2009, 2013 and 2015. All run great! The 2009 225,000. The 2013 170,00. And the 2015 90,000! Love our expedition
Awesome stuff! How do you decide which one to drive?
Underrated review channel!
A lot of great and solid info and your delivery pretty perfect.
Glad you liked it, thanks! I'd love to be able to do more slightly used cars like this down the road.
I have the 2008 xlt edition and do love it. I have approx. 200K miles on it. The biggest problem I have had was spark plugs breaking often and the air conditioning unit going bad. I bought the car preowned in 2010 and have since had to fix the AC unit 3 times. Other than that the vehicle is great. Oh I did change out the radiator.
Not bad at all!
Bought one for my wife June 2022. Just bought one for myself last week. Both are limited editions. Hers is black 2wd and mine is white 4wd.
Nice stuff, enjoy the SUVs!
We have a 2013 expedition limited we purchased brand new. It has 83k. Maintained open checkbook. It runs and drives like its brand new. Tires, brakes, oil changes. Just did tanny service, front and rear diff and coolant flush. Hope it last 4-5 more solid years.
Glad to hear that! These seem pretty solid overall, I was looking for any for sale about 2 months ago and it was slim pickings.
I’m looking at a 2014 Ford Expedition EL Limited with $183 k for $13k. Best price I’ve found so far. I drove it and wow! It’s a nice one. The mileage had me a bit concerned but after your review, I do feel a bit more positive. Thank you!
These do seem to last! I was looking for one myself a few months back but there just weren’t any for sale.
I'm looking at a 2014 xlt with 109k miles and this review and the comments did the exact same for me
I own a 2008 early 3rd gen XLT Expedition with 165,000 miles on it, live in the rust belt, and hit a deer with this vehicle and I have to say that overall it has been a reliable truck. Of couse it has had a few problems as it has gotten older so I'll name some. Power windows break from time to time, the exhaust manifold only on the passenger side has a known warping problem, the torque converter in the transmission is starting to shutter around 40mph which is comon complant around this mileage and needs replacement, has a faulty tire sensor in the spare and can give off a false low tire pressure warning from time to time, a cheap plastic T fiting that connects the hot engine coolant to the rear heater core cracked, and lastly the paint had rust contamintion from the factory and causes premature paint failure on aluminum parts like the hood and tailgate. Even with the paint and other problems, structurally and mechanically everything still works good.
It seems like these are pretty indestructible.
I still got two of these. When I tell you they are so fun and spacious
I believe it!
I have a 2014 Expedition Kings Ranch. It has 9100 miles on it. It sits in the garage most of the time. Zero rust. Looks like new. Buttons and knobs only. No computer screen. It runs fine now but there were some problems with it early on. At 1000 miles the left front shock started leaking, at 2000 miles the right rear shock leaked, at 3000 miles the left rear shock leaked and then at 5000 miles the right front shock was leaking. The throttle body went bad at 2000 miles. The power steering pump had reduced line pressure as something was caught in the pump. All replaced on warranty. All fluids and filters changed. All service work done at the Ford dealer. As of now it has been problem free and I plan to keep it for a long time.
I'd hope it looks like new with so few miles! Hold onto it if you can, sounds like a sweet ride. Enjoy it!
@@PRNTestDrive Thanks. I plan on driving it as long as I can.
@@PRNTestDrive Here is a tip for your Expedition. Put some Continental Street tires on it. Much better ride quality.
I have an 09 with 157k miles on it and still love it. the worst that went wrong is me having to replace the fan clutch. I love the gear selector on the center console in the 3rd gen expeditions.
Glad to hear it's working out for you, enjoy it!
Wish I had your smooth voice. Really informative and to the point. Plus, great camera work...
Glad you liked it!
First time I watch this channel. Instant subscribe. Awesome way of reviewing.
Glad to have you on board, thanks!
My hubs a car fanatic (his hobby)! I can’t even begin to tell you how many used cars we have!! He bought me a 2018 Mazda Cx9! 6 years ago love it for the sound system and Bluetooth! Past month been broken down over heating issues going back and forth with Mazda! Until he got this ford suv king ranch! Was going to ship over sees! ( his side hassle)!! But I can’t let go and not telling him! 😂Just ❤ it!!
Awesome to hear, thanks for sharing!
Am glad you love it. Doesn't it feel too big?
Have a navigator of the same generation, bought it used.
One of the best luxury vehicles not because it has many gizmos, nor because it has great materials, it is because it has great ride quality, great interior space (the 3rd row is bigger than the new escalade)
And specialy: because it is very dependable.
The only thing we've taken it onto a mechanic for is oil changes and general maintenance.
Glad you’re enjoying yours! I don’t see the Navigators as often but that’s a vehicle I’d like to feature.
I could be wrong but I believe both Tahoe and Suburban share same platform as regular light duty Silverado. Same for Yukon and Escalade, the HD truck platforms are only shared by HD Silverado and Sierra.
The Tahoe as far as I know has always been on the light-duty '1500' platform, but for the true Suburban 2500s I believe they were based on the 3/4 tonne trucks, though technically they all used the same basic platform with each new generation.
@@PRNTestDrive you're right as far as I understand the GM lineup.
It's been a while. I need to catch up on your videos. Always loved your presentation style and oddly enough these videos are relaxing to watch.
Welcome back! I had some success this past year getting some of the older vehicles featured, hoping to have more opportunities in the new year!
Love this video man I was not sure I should by this car for my dad's birthday but now I definitely will he always wanted a big suv but can't afford it so I think he will like this
I was looking for one myself a few months ago, they're really hard to find these days as no one wants to sell theirs! Something worth saving up for.
@@PRNTestDrive yeah I agree they are hard to find but hopefully I get some luck
You're a good son. 👍👍❤️
I’ve been wanting a second gen Sequoia but after seeing this video, I have more confidence in test driving a 2013 Expedition XLT/king ranch that I saw on FB Marketplace. Has about 96k on the ODO. Seller says she does all maintenance on time. Also has all the service records. Thanks from California!
😂 same boat. Been hunting for a sequoia for almost 2 years and started looking at el's. Not sure if i want to go 5.4 or 3.5
@@Bob-ir4lr the mech who did the PPI the other day told me it’s in great shape but “it ain’t a Toyota sequoia” 😎… he just complicated things for me 🤣
@@emteebee1872 omg. Obviously the sequoia is superior longevity/maintenance wise but it just lacks the extra space compared to the EL/Max which is why im considering it. I just dont want to pay $20k for a 2008 sequoia with 190k miles on it 🙃
Let us know how it works out!
@@PRNTestDrive flying across the country to buy a sequoia tomorrow so thats that 😂
my 2014 XLT has heated and cooled front seats. The rear captain cars are also heated. It also has automatic climate control. And leather seats. Power liftgate. Sunroof. Rearview mirror backup camera. I view it as a King Ranch without the King Ranch interior.
Fair enough! Sounds like yours was very well option, enjoy it!
I looked hard at the 2014 Expedition as a used vehicle in Canada, but opted for it's cousin, the Navigator "L", built by Ford's Lincoln division. Most of the mechanics of the vehicle are identical, along with the interior layout. Same F-150 frame, engine, transmission and everything else that makes it go down the road. Same power, load and towing ability. The Navigator has a number of standard upgrades above the Expedition and I found that the two models were priced competitively in the used market. The Navigator will provide you with additional body sound proofing, heated and cooled seats, premium leather interior, real wood interior accents, a better infotainment system and back-up camera, power liftgate, pwr folding seats and power sunroof. Navigator comes standard with the "air ride" suspension system and power running boards. Navigators are fairly rare in Canada, so you may have to do some extensive searching to find a low mileage in great shape, but is worth the hunt.
Enjoy yours! They are pretty rare, that's for sure. There's one in my neighbourhood so I see it often, but never others on the road, new or older.
Is your Lincoln a 2014??
@@khloe38 yes
Great presentation as always!
I appreciate that, glad you liked it!
My 2007 EL has been ok. Have had to replace the radiator, starter, rear window regulator, valve cover gasket, oil filter adapter gasket, transmission wiring harness seal, fan clutch, both blower motors and resistors, heater core hoses, thermostat, front lower ball joints, inner tie rods, front sway bar links, rear upper control arms and then general maintenance. The paint is starting to fade and the rear lift gate has corrosion. Tire pressure sensor is bad as well. It has about 178000 miles on it.
Sounds like relatively common maintenance for any car around that mileage. Hopefully it continues to work well for you!
I currently drive a 2006 Nissan armada that I bought new in 2006. It has 283k miles on it. Haven't done anything to it other than oil and other fluids + spark plugs. Is what you listed considered "normal maintenance" for a Ford?? I really want to get a 2011 expedition in my area but reading stuff like this is frightening. Especially reading the previous comment that "it sounds like normal maintenance".
First time watching your channel great review. You should definitely buy one try to stay to 2009 and up and watch out for cam phasers and the timing job Mine has 215,000 miles and I take it wheeling every weekend…
Thanks for checking it out! I’d definitely be in the market for one of these, in fact I was looking a couple months ago but there were zero for sale out here, people hold onto them!
Got the exact vehicle 248k and runs like a charm
Glad to hear it!
It's like my 2010 Escape blown up on a copier 200%. My ford has been great 225,000km since I did the math lol. Ford of that era aren't fancy but they are dependable.
I know, right! I was looking at some of the other early 2010 Fords and feel the Explorer and Escape are just smaller copies of this, was definitely a good design for their fleet. Definitely dependable, there's no doubt! If these hit 400,000km/300,000mi+ regularly like it seems then you're set for a while.
Great work! Super video as always.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
I have a 11 max with 270km and still drives amazing
Glad to hear it!
The max and el are both extra long. Just depends on the year. I’m not sure when they changed it but the older 3rd gens use el and the newer 4th gens use max
I believe it's bene since the most recent generation, but either way it denotes the same idea.
I thought Lexus LS430 bestest car on the highway. After trying the expedition for a long trip, now it's my favorite car for long trips
Good choice! Can't go wrong with either one, but the extra size of the Expedition can make for a smoother ride.
Got a 2012 with 78k and only use to drive 12 miles daily for work. Excellent truck thus far.
Glad to hear it! Nice low mileage, hope it continues to work out well for you.
@@PRNTestDrive Thanks. Appreciate it!
Kinda weird I have a 2014 Expedition XLT and I have heated and cooled seats with leather. Also have the auto lift gate and power folding rear seats
I believe those were options on the trim, not necessarily tied to the trim itself. Ford usually calls them a 301A package or something along those lines.
My son has a XLT with 202A package and it has all the options that you’re missing on the XLT that you’re reviewing
Fair enough! Unfortunately we can't pick and choose which trims/options we get when reviewing used vehicles like this.
I have an 08 with 289,000 on it. Had to do the cam phaser/timing chain at 260,000ish km. This is a well known issue on these engines and I feel getting to 260km on original hardware is pretty good. Also have a '15 with the 3.5L Ecoboost, 124,000km on it and it has a siezed engine. Roughly 15-17 grand to get a new engine installed here in Sask. I bought the '15 with 99,000km on it and did 3 oil changes, just tough luck on that one I think.
Definitely tough luck on the 2015! Those engines seem to be decent enough long-term, but things do happen.
Yay! New retro review!! :-)
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@PRNTestDrive Very much so. These retro reviews are what drew me to your channel in the first place. :-). Don't get me wrong, I still watch and enjoy your new car reviews, but I'm a sucker for the retro reviews and it's always a nice treat when you're able to throw one in here and there.
I love doing them too! I was lucky at the start of summer finding some interesting ones, I'm looking at ways to expand on that in the new year since we're fully into winter here now. I have an endless list of older cars I'd love to feature!
I'm looking for a 2015 XLT EL 4WD,great information my man, keep up the great work....Do you know if the 2015 has front heated seats???
It'll depend on the trim, this one I believe would have had it with the 201A package which wasn't optioned on this. The Limited & King Ranch should come with it standard.
@@PRNTestDrive Much appreciated....
@@mercedesbenzs600bash I’m pretty sure the XLT has heated seats but I’m not sure
@HammyWammy I ended up buying a Toyota Sequoia Limited, great vehicle...
@@mercedesbenzs600bash oh nice, what year?
I used to call it the crown vic suv 👌🏼 same reliability same durability … not the v6 off course
I can see that!
It is a nice SUV, I have an 07 and love it 👍
Glad to hear it!
I don't why mine and that one had it in the rearview mirror as far as backup camera and mine is Eddie Bauer EL max/ king ranch but the king ranch and eddie Bauer all had same wheels and tires but in some came with orders came with chrome wheels and limited had some more stuff
Different options based on what customers wanted.
What's the best Tahoe 2014 or expedition 2014 ?
I think both are relatively good overall, I know plenty of those Tahoe/Suburbans that go well over 300k kms without significant issue. We've heard from a LOT of owners on this video and everyone who's bought one of these loves them.
The 5.4 3v is tried and true when maintained, but these aren't maintained. Out of 10 expeditions I'd say 5 of them will have the cam phaser, timing chain or roller follower issues. One mechanic by the name of Car Wizard, owner of Omega Auto Clinic has personally replaced 16 of them at 7k a piece.
I'm familiar with Car Wizard, I subscribe to his channel. These will be hit or miss in terms of maintenance, some people will have taken care of them and they'll be way up there in mileage, others will have been severely neglected and cost more than it's worth to fix up.
I like this review! I wish there was a Mercury variant of the Expedition.
That would be cool! I think Ford had potential with that brand, they just didn't bother investing in it. Some of their later SUVs were pretty good looking, I'd definitely be interested in featuring them on this show!
@@PRNTestDrive Honestly what attracts me to the Mercury Mariner and Mountaineer are the clear tail-lights. I'm a sucker for them. I wanna drive something with some uniqueness/ quirkiness. I drive a 2010 Versa that has seen better days lol. I dream of driving something bigger, comfortable, and different from the crowd.
What about cam phasers on 5.4 engine?
Hammond you idiot
No clue unfortunately.
Awsome suv.i love my 2014 EL
Glad to hear it!
Can you get one with 2 rows of seats 💺. I don’t like 3rd row seating.
I don't think so, there might be a way to remove the third row yourself but I believe all of them came this way.
The xlt with the 302a package has heated and cooled seats
Good to know!
I've heard horror stories about the 5.4L 3 valve, i would stay away from the 2005-2014 models, that's just me, we do have a 2004 with the 5.4L 2 valve with 235,000 miles and a 1999 with 389,000 miles, both have been very reliable vehicles
Glad to hear you've had success with yours!
Ive love my expedition 5.4 3v 230k and still going strong. Maintenance is key!
The stories are true. Replaced my engine at 162,000 km due to timing chain tensioner failure, which cause camshaft bearing failure. These engines are completely intolerant of poor maintenance (ask any Ford technician), so my advice is to stay away if you cannot verify oil changes were done on time.
Hi. I just came across this video. I am in the market for a newer car. I have always wanted a Ford Expedition. I found a 2017 limited 60k miles. I want it so bad. But have recently learned that the 2017-2019 have internal engine problems. It’s a part that goes bad (can’t remember the name) and it’s a very expensive fix. What are your thoughts.
It's possible there's issues with those engines, I wouldn't be able to say for sure unfortunately. When I was doing my research on this specific generation I found that a lot of owners had little to no problems, and these engines would run to at least 400,000 miles without significant problems.
@@PRNTestDrive You have absolutely no idea how much you just made my day. I remember now. It’s called the Cam Phasers. But I cannot find where the expeditions were affected by this. I have done soooo much research on the 2017 Expeditions and just can’t find anything majorly wrong. I work 100% remote, so I honestly cannot justify buying a brand new one. It will literally sit and rot in my driveway.
Actually 2015 to 2017 same engine problem that’s why ford changed 2018 & up but the 2014 below flex fuel 5.4 V8 the best engine
I have a 2006 ford expedition 5.4 liter 277000 miles still running good...
That's awesome, thanks for sharing! Hope it keeps on working out well for you.
thanks
I have a coolant leak on the crossover pipe... 2014 Expedition. 97k miles
You'll definitely want to get that fixed.
@@PRNTestDrive fixed today, it is the gasket under the pip broke..
Mine has front heated seats
Great feature to have!
It is an excellent suv with an excellent engine. Yes, the key is to get a well maintained one; a poorly maintained 5.4 triton that didn’t have regular oil changes can be a problem.. don’t get the eco boost unless you like turbos constantly going on and off... and the new ones have 10 SPEED transmissions, so the revs are always low and the turbo cant make up its mind... 2014 is the last real year of a big American v8 suv...
Thanks for sharing!
Doesn't the 5.4 engines have the spark plug issue where it blows out?
I didn't read anything about that for the Expedition, but it's something to look into further if you're in the market for one of these.
@@PRNTestDrive I just bought a 2012 Expedition King Ranch EL with only 39k miles. It looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

The motor is ? Ford expedition 5.4 3 valve do have some problems
We've heard from quite a few people over the years who love this SUV and don't seem to have any serious issues.
Lol my 2003 Eddie Bauer expedition comes with features you would see on 2022 cars
I believe it! I remember back when that was a really popular trim for Ford, could be a good idea to bring it back for newer vehicles.
I just picked up a 2008 with 114k. Runs like a top. Sucks gas though 😂
Glad to hear it! Makes sense about the fuel economy though, any of these large SUVs eat up gas like crazy.
what’s the size of the wheels and tires?
Unfortunately we don't have that info, sorry!
We have a 14 extended version with every option they had available. 93k miles and nothing wrong with interior or bells and whistles. Everything works perfect, BUT this thing is so freaking slow!!! My goodness, it's like driving a freaking wrangler against the wind. I looked up the engine and only has 306 HP. Wtf?! This thing is supposed to be able to tow 8 passengers and all their crap and it is slow as hell with just me driving it. I have to say, i l9ve being able to fit very large items and the comfort is top notch. I will be leasing a Genesis in a few months to appease the speed demon in me. I think this thing will last and hopefully all the electric crap will, too.
Glad to hear it's working out well for you! We've heard from lots of happy owners of this generation Expedition, definitely seems like a solid option for a big SUV.
U can find cheap ones at Gov surplus/deals. All I want is a cheap reliable vehicle.
Great idea!
I know a company that re manufacturers zero miles expedition engines and heavy-duty transmissions with HD torque converters, so dont mind purchasing a high mileage expendtion. Rather spend $25k than $85K on a new one that already has problems.
Fair enough! Nothing wrong with buying a high mileage model.
It is a giod vehicle. But its Tritan V8 is not the best. Not bad either. Take good care of it maintenance wise.
Fair enough! We've heard from a lot of owners over the years, definitely a lot of happy owners.
Ford needs the 7.3 or some V8 for people that like naturally aspirated engines. Till then, I would pick a GM triplets over Expedition.
It's a perfect opportunity for them to offer the Excursion again, though I imagine sales for it would be seriously limited.
Well my last 3 and my current one must all be special then.
Fair enough
Nah I usually use a kick to blower motor.

Lookin at one of these other day just for hell of it. So weird that my 2009 f150 is so much more modern. They left the expedition the old generation til 2015. Pathetic.
Same is happening now with the current Expedition/Lincoln Navigator, neither are true updates to be in line with the current F-150, rather just a facelift of the previous generation.
I just bought a 2014 with just 2 rows. Was an FBI vehicle sold at auction to dealer. Your video about the K9 connection makes sense and that's the why no 3rd row. Definitely a solid option, we were impressed with it and have heard from a lot of owners who have 6 digit odometers without any issues.
i stopped watching as soon as this guy said kilometers. Its mile per hour in America, look at the speed limit signs useless
The world doesn’t revolve around the United States of America.

Fair enough
Wow looks so ugly without chrome and seats and mirrors wow and hvac no and rear cam ? Like mine in rear mirror
XLTs are relatively low on the trim ladder.
I still own a 2007 with only 138,000 miles. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned. 14 years later , only major issue I had was a fuel pump in February. Regular maintenance pays off. I did replace factory Struts with Monroes and man it rode better than it did while new. Drivers side window regulator and the rear actuator went out. But I replaced original plugs at 117,000 miles along with a coil pack. So tell me if I haven't gotten my money's worth out of this Suv. I would buy another if they put V8s back in them. I have people ride in it and can't believe it's 14 years old , been told it rides better than the Tahoe and my brother in law says it has much more power than his full size Toyota SUV...
Glad to hear it! I'd definitely buy one of these, I like the looks of it and so far we've heard a lot of positive comments from viewers who own them.
highest ill go is 14 since thats the last year model they kept the v8
I feel a lot of others out there would agree with you!
17l per 100km. Ouch
Definitely an ouch, but likely that's been in-town driving that the dealer has done with any road tests. I suspect that number would get closer to 11-12L/100km if we took it our our 100km test loop.
