A slightly faster method for duplicating items: Follow the steps in the video up until where you multi select the Pokémon in the “menu-ception”. Instead of multi select, release each Pokémon one by one. (This is annoying but we haven’t found a way to mass release yet so we have to do this anyway.) When you release the Pokémon, it will automatically place the item in your bag. Go back out to the previous menu, hit check summary, and that’s it. All of the items will be added to your bag but none of the Pokémon will be removed from the original box. You can continue to repeat this process to farm all the items you want. It’s a slight improvement from having to duplicate all the Pokémon to get items from them. Still not great but eventually we’ll find a way to mass release boxes of Pokémon. Hope you find it useful!
why dont you just do the box dupe glitch but you start with only one pokemon and like swap the almost empty box with the full one and then its just 2 pokemon instead of like 31 (for mass transfering) and this is for the other dupe glitch idk how this one works i havent watched the video
Or here’s an idea instead of releasing which takes a massive amount of time try just moving the item into the bag then exit and check summary like the box dupe. You don’t dupe your pokemon just the items.

You sir just inadvertently helped me find a quicker item dupe glitch. Instead of moving the pokemon to a new box all you have to do is put their items in the bag. Unfortunately, there’s no select all items and put them in the bag but pushing the x button works to cut down a bit of time. Then follow the steps of going back to check the summary. push b push a push x rinse and repeat. No filling boxes up with cloned pokemon. no extra harvesting step. no need to rewrite pokemon over and over. Just plain and simple item duping.

Make sure you have a box with the Pokémon holding the items you want to dupe, and a box full of Pokémon that aren’t holding items. I think I prefer the box duplication from the other day clone a box of pokemon holding items take the items from the cloned box afterwards you could do the glitch again and overwrite a box of cloned pokemon that you removed the items from though I'm sure it's only a matter of time until someone figures a better solution.
FYI, if you only want to farm items, once you reach the step at 2:05, you simply take the Pokémon’s item and return to bag instead of dragging them into another box. Repeat final steps as usual and you have said items still held by the Pokémon AND in your bag!
Idk if this is happening to anyone else right now but there's two things. 1. When I go back into the boxes after initiating the menu glitch, I can't press X after pressing on a pokemon once to open the menu again. 2. Updated the software and now every time I attempt the menu glitch now it closes my game due to an error.

overwrite the box after taking the items. I heard that if you RELEASE each of them...the ITEM HELD goes into your inventory....so if you want to release them... First replace the poke clones with new clones that have items...then RELEASE and the ITEM HELD will go to your inventory....so you can save SOME time. :)
I'm still struggling to understand stand how to clone over a box that has mons (it keeps giving me the error sound) But anywho even mass release doesn't seem to work as well 😓
Just get the items from the cloned boxes and use the old box cloning method swapping the new box (or the one with items) with the one you took the items from (still full of pokemon but with no items) ... You'll replace the old mons with the new ones or with the same ones if you want but they'll held items again
If you're just duping items, a faster way is to just remove the items from the pokemon in the second box menu instead of duping the pokemon holding them. When you click summary you'll have the items in your bag while the pokemon in the box will also still be holding them. This way you're not duping all those pokemon (cleaner boxes) and then bagging all of those duped items one by one (which is the real time-consumer).
Its so strange. It worked 3times and now it doesnt anymore. The glitch is active (overlapping menus) but as soon as i get to the point of „select a pokemon in your box and press x to open another menu“ it just doesnt open up a new menu. When i go completely out of the menus my character is frozen and doesnt move and i have to reboot. Any idea?
I just had a psychotic idea.... What happens if you enter the union room while in the secondary elevated menu and cloning, and then select and trade the mon you selected in the first step? basically: 1. zr+zl +b to activate the glitch 2. exit to the overworld to then open the glitched menu 3. go to the box and then press "A" on any mon 4. press x to open the second menu 5. activate ycomm and enter the union room with the previous steps active 6. using the current clone method active, trade something. I have NO IDEA how I did it, but while cloning, I activated the ycom menu and went into the union room myself. I believe that what happened was that when I opened a SECOND glitched menu after step 4. I checked my mons summary, them repeated steps 1-3, then pressed b, my menu and screen glitched, then I was able to access y-comm to enter union room features. and meanwhile, somehow it still had the cloning menu active as well, so had I traded with someone, interesting things may have happened.
I got traded one shiny 6IV English Ditto from a friend: Guess what I'll do tomorrow with Blaine's help? First dupe the hell out of Ditto to obtain over 30 boxes full of Masterballs/Rare Candies, then use the shiny modifier glitch to transform any shiny Ditto into another perfect 6IV Pokémon! This Glitch Fiesta is so fun, I've seen speedruners finish BDSP in less than 30minutes XD

Worked for me as well! You do everything in the video up to the point where you copy the Mon and instead you swap boxes then close out and check summary and both boxes should have the items. Hallelujah, now I don't have to release the mons Everytime just collect the items I transfer between 2 boxes.

How do you clone over the same box, I tried to do that but the game wouldn't let me put the grabbed pokemon on top of existing ones. I hope there's a more efficient way of getting rid of Pokemons
its great and all but is there a fast way to mass release or at least dupe overwrite the pokemon in certain boxes because after collecting the items, its a pain having to release 1 by 1 to clear up spaces for the box
When on one hand this is cool and all, at the same time this just completely destroys any "value" of rare Pokèmon. Everything will be flooded by shinys, and perfect stats and what not, just making it obsulate to grind for anything or even play the game in the first place. Even worse, people doing all the things the "legit" way will get told that their mons are prolly glitched as well. This also 100% breaks any following pokemon games that are coming, if you can trade from BDSP to them, except completely new pokemon of course.
There is no value in "rare" pokemon now anyways. When trading on reddit there is actually no way of knowing if the pokemon is duped or not. I do get what you mean, but this has been a problem since gen 1.
A lot people play pokemon for the competitive aspect. This doesn't affect that in anyway. You can have perfect IVs and what not but that doesn't make you automatically good at online battles. 100% of the people that play competitively online all have perfect pokemon and are def doing these glitches. It might ruin the game for you. But for a lot of us that just want to get to play online faster it only helps the process. Having shiny pokemon is a personal thing. People could care less, if you grinded for it, props to you if u glitched it thats fine too. It doesn't change anything about the game. Not everyone has 200hrs+ to pour into a game.

(The impact those glitches have on the highest level of play is another discussion altogether.) Online ranked players? Eh, probably most but not all will have perfect stats Pokémon. Casual people that just want to battle online for fun? Hell no, the majority won't have perfect stats Pokémon. Glitches will ruin this and now everyone, no matter where in this spectrum, will have perfect stats Pokémon. So to keep up with them you either have to use glitches yourself or spend ten times the amount of time to do it the legitimate way. Yes, having perfect Pokémon doesn't automatically win you the fights, but it still cuts hours on hours of grinding compared to people doing it the legitimate way. I can turn that argument the exact way around. It might not ruin the game for you, but it does for a lot of us.

Any player that plays online matches without perfect stats most likely only versuses their friends because there is no way you can have mediocre pokemon and make it somewhere in the ladder it wont happen. And this isnt the first game where this has happened so you're argument is kinda mute. If you wanna grind then grind no one is stopping you. But these glitches have zero impact on the meta. You chose to grind, that is your fun.
You can't clone over a box with pokemon in it. The game doesn't allow you to place the source pokemon into the destination box if there are other pokemon in it.
@@Morphenkinder I do too, I’m just saying a physical copy right now would have it on the lowest firmware & without ever downloading the update you would still be able to do all of this. So if they ever put out an update to patch all this thats kind of where the digital version is at a disadvantage... I mean I could turn off auto updates and never update it lol but a physical version I could use on any console anytime and never download the update. 🤘🏻 Sry for typing a novel lol hope I made some type of sense...

Here's one that I want, where the glitch where we can mass delete Pokemon? I don't want a bunch of the same Pokemon, I just do it to get more items, but don't want to go through the slow process of deleting them from my box.
great minds think alike! I'm getting too old and I don't have enough time available in a given day to game, so glitches like this help out speed to the end game. I'll still be shiny hunting but getting those shinies topped off with all the items that are duplicated. Still taking a chunk of time to grind but thankfully this newest version of the box glitch shaves of several seconds.
For those still on patch 1.1.1 looking to only clone items, not pokemon, you can do the glitch exactly like he does in the video, hold a pokemon, go to the second menu -> boxes -> press X and take all the pokemons items. then return to the first box menu, check summary and boom, all items are back. Just do that over and over again, no need to dupe the pokemon.
If you aren't cloning an entire box, you don't need to move them to an empty box, just move the pokemon you want to copy to empty spots within the same box. It worked for me.

For that second menu to pop up while your selecting a Pokémon you have to successfully activated the Zl and zr glitch first right? Because I can’t seem to get that second menu to pop up when I hit x when I’m in the Pokémon boxes.

I am looking forward to get both Pokemon brilliant diamond and Pokemon shining pearl games for Christmas🎄. I also would liked to play as Dawn and choose Piplup as my starter Pokemon so I can do better than the anime Dawn and what Piplup would never do. And that is catching more Pokemon and evolve Piplup into Prinplup and then to Empoleon. However when I was watching TH-cam of any ideas what to expect on Pokemon brilliant diamond and Pokemon shining pearl, but when I was looking to find out about Wonder Trade that I've just found out today that at the moment is unavailable😱. I mean it isn't fair because I was looking forward to get both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl games for Christmas and I was hoping to used Wonder Trade for any Pokemon I want since it's the most important part of every Pokemon Games. Now I'm going to have to wait in early January to hear more news at least that what I though it's going to happen😒.

I just realised, you can simply swap 2 boxes (one Mons with items, and the other one with the same Mons without items). Worked for me
Worked for me as well! You do everything in the video up to the point where you copy the Mon and instead you swap boxes then close out and check summary and both boxes should have the items. Hallelujah, now I don't have to release the mons Everytime just collect the items I transfer between 2 boxes.

Havent tried this but, If you have a box with 1 mon dupe over the full boxes, that helps release at least 29 mons at one go yes?

as of new game update (Dec.2 in Japan) fixes the menu glitch but hear the daycare cloning glitch still works.
How do you clone over the same box, I tried to do that but the game wouldn't let me put the grabbed pokemon on top of existing ones. I hope there's a more efficient way of getting rid of Pokemons
Swap the box from the box list instead of using multi-select I assume, but I haven't tried it.
You don’t gotta check summary at the end if you want but just be safe it worked for me with out checking summary at the end.

Technically you can, instead of moving Pokemon with multiselect, use swap boxes with multiple boxes of Pokemon and you will dupe them even faster
its great and all but is there a fast way to mass release or at least dupe overwrite the pokemon in certain boxes because after collecting the items, its a pain having to release 1 by 1 to clear up spaces for the box

When on one hand this is cool and all, at the same time this just completely destroys any "value" of rare Pokèmon. Everything will be flooded by shinys, and perfect stats and what not, just making it obsulate to grind for anything or even play the game in the first place.
Even worse, people doing all the things the "legit" way will get told that their mons are prolly glitched as well.
This also 100% breaks any following pokemon games that are coming, if you can trade from BDSP to them, except completely new pokemon of course.
There is no value in "rare" pokemon now anyways. When trading on reddit there is actually no way of knowing if the pokemon is duped or not. I do get what you mean, but this has been a problem since gen 1.

A lot people play pokemon for the competitive aspect. This doesn't affect that in anyway. You can have perfect IVs and what not but that doesn't make you automatically good at online battles. 100% of the people that play competitively online all have perfect pokemon and are def doing these glitches. It might ruin the game for you. But for a lot of us that just want to get to play online faster it only helps the process. Having shiny pokemon is a personal thing. People could care less, if you grinded for it, props to you if u glitched it thats fine too. It doesn't change anything about the game. Not everyone has 200hrs+ to pour into a game.

Sure, in a competitive sense I can see where this just saves a ton of time. But then again, people that want to do it the "legitimate" way are in an insane disadvantage.
All the players having perfect competitive Pokémon also depends on how you define it. Actual competitive tourney players? Yes, they will all have perfect stats Pokémon. (The impact those glitches have on the highest level of play is another discussion altogether.)
Online ranked players? Eh, probably most but not all will have perfect stats Pokémon.
Casual people that just want to battle online for fun? Hell no, the majority won't have perfect stats Pokémon.
Glitches will ruin this and now everyone, no matter where in this spectrum, will have perfect stats Pokémon.
So to keep up with them you either have to use glitches yourself or spend ten times the amount of time to do it the legitimate way.
Yes, having perfect Pokémon doesn't automatically win you the fights, but it still cuts hours on hours of grinding compared to people doing it the legitimate way.
I can turn that argument the exact way around. It might not ruin the game for you, but it does for a lot of us.

Any player that plays online matches without perfect stats most likely only versuses their friends because there is no way you can have mediocre pokemon and make it somewhere in the ladder it wont happen. And this isnt the first game where this has happened so you're argument is kinda mute. If you wanna grind then grind no one is stopping you. But these glitches have zero impact on the meta. You chose to grind, that is your fun.

You can't clone over a box with pokemon in it. The game doesn't allow you to place the source pokemon into the destination box if there are other pokemon in it.

So if they ever put out an update to patch all this thats kind of where the digital version is at a disadvantage... I mean I could turn off auto updates and never update it lol but a physical version I could use on any console anytime and never download the update. 🤘🏻

great minds think alike! I'm getting too old and I don't have enough time available in a given day to game, so glitches like this help out speed to the end game. I'll still be shiny hunting but getting those shinies topped off with all the items that are duplicated. Still taking a chunk of time to grind but thankfully this newest version of the box glitch shaves of several seconds.
For those still on patch 1.1.1 looking to only clone items, not pokemon, you can do the glitch exactly like he does in the video, hold a pokemon, go to the second menu -> boxes -> press X and take all the pokemons items. then return to the first box menu, check summary and boom, all items are back. Just do that over and over again, no need to dupe the pokemon.

If you aren't cloning an entire box, you don't need to move them to an empty box, just move the pokemon you want to copy to empty spots within the same box. It worked for me.

For that second menu to pop up while your selecting a Pokémon you have to successfully activated the Zl and zr glitch first right? Because I can’t seem to get that second menu to pop up when I hit x when I’m in the Pokémon boxes.

I am looking forward to get both Pokemon brilliant diamond and Pokemon shining pearl games for Christmas🎄. I also would liked to play as Dawn and choose Piplup as my starter Pokemon so I can do better than the anime Dawn and what Piplup would never do. And that is catching more Pokemon and evolve Piplup into Prinplup and then to Empoleon.
However when I was watching TH-cam of any ideas what to expect on Pokemon brilliant diamond and Pokemon shining pearl, but when I was looking to find out about Wonder Trade that I've just found out today that at the moment is unavailable😱. I mean it isn't fair because I was looking forward to get both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl games for Christmas and I was hoping to used Wonder Trade for any Pokemon I want since it's the most important part of every Pokemon Games. Now I'm going to have to wait in early January to hear more news at least that what I though it's going to happen😒.

bro i tried to do the bad egg cloning, when i tried to remove the bad egg, i knocked the pokemon out then suddenly my marshtomp started to evolve without leveling up
when you remove the second pokemon from the party, then knock the pokemon out then boom (sos my pokemon level is 61 then without leveling up started to evolve)
