In SFIV there was no input buffer for normals, so you couldn't hit the button a few frames early and still have it come out. SFV and 6 both have an input buffer, so 1-frame links are rare outside of character specific special circumstances.
I really don’t know how you can be mad at losing to Ryu. He’s probably the most honest character in the game and in Street Fighter in general. If you lose to a Ryu it’s your fault. Also he’s playing Akuma and only knows like one combo route and just walks back soooo much like does he think Akuma is a zoner? Man has not done any labbing.
That’s his strategy with any character. He would go back full screen and wait for something to happen. Not sure what, though, he can’t even jump over fireballs half the time and loses solely to that.
He’s in the incredibly old ass mentality of Akuma in older games, when air fireball had less aggressive answers to it and Akuma had a good zoning subplan. Dude is mentally still in the past.
