Always plenty of scrubs in these comments telling daigo how to play/calling him bad lol the man is the 2nd greatest of all time (tokido is my GOAT) and isnt even close to washed
Yeah something I caught myself thinking too. But then I realized the amount of mental stack and multi-level guess these top players are always thinking about. Even though if I fought either of these players the best thing I could do against them is hit them with an ex dp 😂
Complete noob here (I just like to watch). Could someone acquainted with SF6 explain to me why the Honda player is using the "Modern" control settings? What are the pros and cons for Honda in particular, but also in general? Because there's clearly something going on if he managed to reach 2191 MR.
Modern control gives you access to instant command with 1 button but with damage tradeoff (around 20% on those commands) This gives modern player 1 button dp to anti air, super on reaction to break DI, etc. Modern control also removes some normal buttons but in the case of chun li, luke, honda, etc. they still retain alot of their good buttons and thats what make them so good on modern control. And modern players at high level dont use auto combos, they input their combos manualy like classic players would.
@Compulsive_LARPer yeah it's kinda just a slightly different way to play, mostly allowing people to pick up the core gameplay faster. There's some downsides and some advantages but 9/10 times it'll be the better player who wins regardless of control type
Godly trash that's it. How you give a Godly name to a person using one button special? That's a scrub who don't want to learn the game just mashing buttons
@mac7114 oh, idk they just seem good. I use classic but I've gotten my shit beat by modern players a bunch, I don't think there's much of a difference especially at high level. Do you play classic?
@@MigBilk 1, it's physically impossible to reduce the time it takes to input a motion + button to a 1 direction + button. 2: I only started 1 month ago playing my first Street Fighter game ever. 3: Auto combos that cannot drop with same damage as classic... Specially when starting out, that hurts a lot 🤣 Good players? Maybe. 80% of players? Not so sure. Besides, they don't need to buffer, so they can hide their strategy behind their free movement.
@@LeyoRaw you know what? I was gonna argue with you then I realized that’s not a resourceful use of either of our time. You make some strong points and I hope we can agree to disagree.
Man im liking what im seeing from daigo. Last 3 games he was very aggressive. He's looking more comfortable with akuma.
Daigo is a legend, this guy is the symbol of street fighter as Ryu
Always plenty of scrubs in these comments telling daigo how to play/calling him bad lol the man is the 2nd greatest of all time (tokido is my GOAT) and isnt even close to washed
Daigo is the greatest of all time. Because of his long experience .tokido is no.2 only.
Yeah something I caught myself thinking too. But then I realized the amount of mental stack and multi-level guess these top players are always thinking about. Even though if I fought either of these players the best thing I could do against them is hit them with an ex dp 😂
With all due respect I’m below a scrub thank you very much … I’m actual trash lol
Exactly these the same scrubs who use modern control like the Honda player. Modern requires no skill
Only scrub is you because nobody never even said that.
Very nice E Honda play. Props
That was epic playing by both players
That double perfect was backbreaking
Love to see the versatility of all the SF6 characters
Only sfiv
6:05 insane reaction
Also, dat double Perfect.
Great action
Damn, Daigo's so good!

Seems like Daigo downloaded him right before that double perfect. After that it was complete dominance
Very cool video. It's awesome to see people unlocking a characters true potential. The green aura, is that when attacks are unblockable?
Doube perfect is wild
9:52 Let's go, Daigo!
Idk how to say this modern hondas name but they are godly

@@mac7114looks like it’s working since he’s legend rank.
Felt like Daigo was playing around. He could have always countered that dropping butt attack by jump backward poke.
@5:19 Lawd hammercy 😂🤣
Maybe the arcade stick is faster and his reaction time is faster in arcade stick
Haha the Honda player is using Modern controls xD
how is he playing from jail?
Nani??? What happened?
これで本田のNo.1なんだ…
技性能で簡単に勝てるキャラな分他のキャラのトップ層と比べたらプレイスキルが低いなやっぱり
Ay cabronig!
Replays don't show connection speed and type. That's a modern honda on crossplay. Bet guy was lagging like shit because of wifi connection.
I'm starting to understand the "hate" towards Modern controls... That speed of response with specials and supers is just... Ugh... 😔
A good player would be able to react to inputs just as fast with classic, y’all are just salty

I been saying since the beginning that modern controls are an serious problem but the capcom fanboys will defend sf6 till the death
Very bad play from both players.
I would easily beat them using the uppy punch, and then a down punch. 💪👀
I've never been impressed with anything I've ever seen from any Honda player at any level. Diamond to legend they all do the same spamming safe BS.
Diago has been playing poke war too long, I hope he adds a new offensive layer. Probably not.
Did you just watch the same match as me?
game about footsies.
guy mad because people play footsies.
He doesn't look that strong now, in SF4 he is extremely strong
Who?
daigo@@demonreturns4336
Daigo lost in the 5 games count.
Huajajajaj
Modern is so cringe should be ban from Tournaments
Yeah. Daigo. Won in every video, and never appeared in any quarterfinals. “The Best” I guess.
What did you watch? There are multiple videos that have Daigo loose.
This Honda is the biggest scrub I’ve ever seen in my life
