This Vitara is Suzuki's core offering in the fashionable small SUV segment and was usefully improved in this post-2018 facelifted fourth generation 'LY'-series guise. The engine range was completely updated as part of this MK4 model's facelift, plus style and safety were both further enhanced. Plus a bit of substance was mixed in with the style here, especially if you opt for one of the 'ALLGRIP' 4WD variants. And the resulting package continues to be a strong class contender from the 2018-2020 period.

This is such a very well-articulated, complete, correctly-sequenced, technically-accurate-in-every-word-without-being-overly-complex-to-the-layman, professional review.
    Very, very well done.

I've got the 1.4 boosterjet manual Allgrip.
Never had such a fun car to drive. Its powerfull, its fast, its good on fuel and the allgrip really is worth the money.

Ive just ordered the exact same car sz5 model 69 plate, is the manual better than the auto? I got a manual just for a bit more off roading ability if needed

What sort of MPG are you getting?

Go for the 1400 turbo 6 speed automatic. Forget the new 1500 cc hybrid. Mine is at 40000 km now, done 25000 from i got it. Still loving it. 1400 140 hp allwheeldrive 6 speed automatic. 5-6 l/100 km and very fast. clocked it on 8 sec 0-100 in sport mode.

A very well-crafted and comprehensive presentation covering really everything a potential buyer needs to know. Very underrated and underappreciated work, I applaud, thanks for the comprehensive information. I've owned the car for three years now and I wouldn't change. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

I now have the 1.4 mild hybrid SZ5, the sunroof is great i am 5 foot 11 and there is plenty of headroom. A space saver wheel kit can be supplied by your local Suzuki dealer, there is a space under the load floor for it to fit with the jack etc. The Auto box is great, average 44 mpg plus the performance and economy are very impressive. I chose this over many other rivals.

Best car in its class pound for pound. You can get better equipment but you will have to pay other brands alot more. This was the perfect version of the Vitara, you got the turbo and a automatic, something you cant get now.

100 right,I was testing this car today,1.4 auto and I was surprised how good it is,fast ,good looking and small which is easy to park everywhere. I think I will be swapping my Volvo V40 cross country for this ,I need something bigger, but fuel efficient 🤔😏

Do you think the 1.0L automatic (SZ-T) would struggle too much if it had, say, 3 adults and some shopping in it, and going up fairly steep hills?
