- Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! This video was filmed a while back but I wanted to save it for a Mother's Day special video!
In this mother and son special, my mom and I decided to swap diets for 24 hours. I typically eat 3,000 calories on a regular full day of eating. But, today my calories were nearly cut in half! My mom on the other hand was given quite the food challenge!

I also feel like most folks have just never had a truly good cup of coffee. If it's too bitter, try a different roast or a different prep method. I love really dark, strong, or nutty roasts, but I know that I'm in the minority on that metric. For others, there are sweet, medium roast, fruity, chocolatey, hearty blends, etc. and different extraction methods that enhance or take away certain characteristics. There's a wide array of coffee beans, and it's good to find out what you actually love drinking in the morning. Thankfully, home brewed coffee can be a cheap luxury! As a general rule for myself though: if I feel the need to add something else to my cup, then I don't actually like THAT coffee and I need to try something else.
