    The thing is that Reece need stability in this time and he’ll find that at the broncos with a lot of his personal mates there and coaches that have known him since 14, great work from Warriors lookin out for a young star and his needs

    I understand reeces situation. Single dad he wants to be near his young daughter as much as he can. Time flys and you cant get those times back when kids grow up. Good attitude from the warriors actually. More to life than footy.

      I'm annoyed at the media for acting like Vultures and ripping into the Warriors. The club can't control what happens in his personal life.

    • @drewest4619
      @drewest4619 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is his daughter living at the broncos headquarters? Why not the dolphins? He came to the warriors because they would pay him more than he was on at the broncos (maybe to support his cocaine habbits) and was never gonna get his shot at first grade. Fact is if he never went to warriors he would only be debuting this year 2023 for the broncos. Walsh used warriors as a stepping stone and warriors owners allowed it to happen. Same case as Matt lodge

    • @taiyonatiare7918
      @taiyonatiare7918 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@drewest4619 to be fair Walsh “using the warriors as a stepping stone” was probably the most attention the warriors have had in years. Here in NZ everyone knows that we didn’t have much fresh talent for a while til Reece. And the warriors have bad blood with the dolphins so it makes sense plus Reece only asked to go to the broncos anyways. So it’s not a bad situation for Reece.

      @@taiyonatiare7918 most attention in years? That’s false
      Maybe the first teenage talent for a very long time for the warriors but warriors always make headlines in Australia every year the club has played in the nrl. Or are you just referring to positive attention or the fact a decent player payed attention to go over to the poorly owned club the nz warriors?

    We have zero X factor now. For whatever reason the Warriors have had offloads and the off-the-cuff footy coached out of them so we relied so much on Walsh to do something special because no one else can.
    The Warriors need to get back to hitting hard in defence and throwing the footy around in attack. They've lost their identity and forgotten the style of footy that got them to 2 grand finals many years ago.

      It's always gonna be against them, but they don't make it easier for themselves. I think overall the criticism from people is harsh, it's different than if it were Australian based side. They can't help if Reece doesn't want to move to NZ even after saying he would.

Players come from around the world to play in the NPC, Super Rugby, even at school boy level, there are a few Ozzie kids in there. I think if the Warriors were consistently making top 8 or pushing top 4, I think more Ozzie’s would be willing to put in that sacrifice. Usually a winning culture means not only do you have a chance of winning the comp, but also going on to higher honours like Star of Origin/playing for Australia.

I've also heard The Warriors are going to give Shaun Johnson, Bunty Afoa and Jack Murchie to the dolphins to stop any bad blood between the club's. Apparently Jazz Tevaga Has just signed with the dolphins because the Warriors couldn't match what they offered him. Apparently they will announce the signings of Royce Hunt and Mawene Hiroti soon along with Martin and Arthars. If this is true, minus the loss of tevaga and they have signed Hunt, Hiroti, Martin, Klokstad, Barnett, Niukore, Walker, Metcalfe, Lussick and Arthars for next year as well as Webster as new coach. And if they sign Daejarn Asi aswell, that is a serious squad next year. I'm a Rabbitohs supporter. But based on what the footy show have said and if those rumours are true. This is looking like the Warriors top 17 next year. Probably the most balanced I have seen them in years. With experience in there reserves They are a serious threat.

    Total rubbish. Where is the development of nz players? Why are you going to buy a player then base your whole team around him? Didn't work for Stacey or Johnson. I said this before the key to a championship club is grassroots, development and culture. Penrith and Melbourne and back in the day Broncos. The Warriors history is letting the best players and coaches go and the non existing grassroots and development. Management from its inception has been pathetic and proven to be a failure in every decision they have thus made.

  • @drewest4619
    @drewest4619 ปีที่แล้ว

    What it says to the fans is he never really was committed to coming to nz, happy to take the pay ticket and the opportunity for first grade (broncos were never gonna take the risk giving him his debut) if he broke up with his baby mother then why specifically go back to the broncos? The dolphins are in Brisbane too makes no sense. One thing that was truth is fans want owners gone, warriors owners are killing that club

I mean look at how scruffy and unshaven he is on this interview, a terrible look which sums up the whole Warriors club. We need a hard man, a no bs man like Bellamy to come and remove the bro cultture, shake up the entire foundations and give us a hunger for winning. We have the talent, in absoloute spades, we simply dont have anything else.
