Kicking Mustang takes a close look at the new Novritsch 3D leafs, are they worth adding to your ghillie suit crafting stash or should you leaf them alone? (sorry)

I'd gotten used to his voice coming from the ghillie entity, so it was kind of disturbing for me, too, at first.
The colours are great but they need to be stronger

kickingmustangvlog yeah they mounting system is pretty unique, quite strong the leaves would break before the pins did
I definitely agree with you their. I personally love the mounting system I would love to see more products with a similar type of system
So, I have been running my ghillie with the Novritsch leafs.
My opinion: Great coloration and style, works great and gives a great camo. I also love the way you stick them to the suit with the pins.
BUT!!! The leafs break off really really easy. The plastic around the hole where you poke the pin in, breaks. Making you lose your leafs and pins right and left. One game, I can lose atleast 5-6 leafs, from what I can see and find.
So what you need to do is, put some glue on the leafs when you put the pin through it.
Did you get the Kreuzotter camo or the amber? I'm thinking of going kreuzotter but haven't seen the leaf ghillie yet and won't know if it'll be good for my environment or not.
@@TheEpicDartfish No, kreuzotter wasnt out when I bought mine, but you should most definetly go for that one, great color.
The pins usualy dont hold, even with glue i loose em. So i started using cable ties instead. And letme tell you, it works way better.
i like that Kicking is also looking at his compatitor just to get a real justment between those too

Well it's info that you would want to know before hand because he is being honest about some (if not the only) class he sees in it. Would really like to see the water tests on it and then a review on then again after attaching to a suit and running around in it so we could see it those issues he was raising cause issues that could make you visible during a game bc of it. Ie bc too many failed\tell off during usage. And his statement about applying them when at field makes so much sense it's not even funny that novritsch who was trained as a sniper (esp from making real ones for use in real combat) didn't have flashbacks to his training to know that not really a good way to make your suit and customizing it for optimal stealth and sneakiness.

Be interesting to see what would happen if you made a sandwich out of two leaf sets by using say adhesives like gorilla glue, 'flex seal,' spray adhesive or say regular super glue btw the each corresponding leaf. First to see if fixes ripping issue and to see if makes leads unusable bc of that, water test and if causes discoloration of the leaf. MB DIY hack for it

He will copy and make his own but wont be as good.
That grey brown color is good for the pacific nothwest. It looks like the color of leaves up here that have been on a forest floor for a weeks being rained on and dried out in the sun and rained on and dried out over and over. Mix that with e other colors and it’s just a little added effect
Got my ghillie today and was thinking to add the leafs from Nov nut they are sold out... But im asking myself how to use the rubber bands on the suite 😂😂 tried to find a video but didnt find anything which might help to understand the use of it 😂😂... One option which i came across was pretty fun.. Use spray glue and rub youself into dirt where the glue was sprayed on.. Best craft ever but yeah i dont want to glue something on my new ghillie (btw great product @km)
rubber bands are for natural vegetation, you just tie the bands onto the netting then add the veg to them. Just a heads up though rubber bands wear out over time so they need to be replaced every so often
I play with these leafs since 30 games, not a single one comes of like he shows. So its not a problem in "real life" i think :)
I do like how they react to light, it seems like when it's in the sun they are slightly translucent which makes them lighter in light, darker in darker places. Was thinking of stripping them off the stems and ziptie them to the suit.
My area has tons of deciduous trees and the dead leaves do turn gray after piling up for years at the forest floor
To anybody using this to figure out what suit to buy. Keep in mind, this guy is the person who sells the KMCS, the main competitor of this suit. Meaning this review is most likely biased in some way. This is the equivalent of Pepsi reviewing the taste of Coca Cola. Find a review from someone that has nothing to gain from swaying a particular way.

Mustang, when are you going to restock your balaclavas? I'm going to match the green KMCS balaclava with the Novritsch shoulder cape (Kreuzotter probably, not sure not. Waiting for a video to see how they look irl)
Even if they aren’t as strong as sneaky leaves…. Remember…. Real snipers “VEG UP” using real natural foliage…. And all of those artificial leaves are MUCH stronger than natural leaves. They will work fine.
Natural leaves are replaced all the time. The suit takes a significant time/money investment and durability is desirable.

Seems like the sets with 2 leave the smaller leaves come off easier while the bigger one holds

I own the leaves and have done since their release. I found that if you spend time trying to pick the stem from the leaf they will appear as 'weak'. But if you use the leaves as intended they will never break.

Well when you’re playing somewhere like here in central Texas where the brush is thick and you have thorny trees like mesquite trees and briar vines, they’ll eventually get snagged when you’re moving through that kind of environment.

One reason I don't use leaf cam is it's a very specific camo I prefer my sandbag cobra hood

The thing is you aren't going to be tugging at the leaves. Would you not make a video with the leaves on your 2.0 or 3.0 suit and show it after a week of crawling through forests during games. Show what it's like after a week and then after a few month's
I'll correct ya there bud. I have Novr. leaves and once they get tangled no matter what it is new or old they get lost real fast even in the Nov group there have been threads about the leaf's situation. They get pulled too easily and my suit if you look at it its missing leaves while keeping the "stronger" one. ***REMINDER** EVEN NEW ONES.
