- I have been waiting to get my hands on this foundation, as some of you may know my go to foundation from Chanel is Vitalumiere because of it's dewy hydrating finish. Well we have a new player in town and it's Sublimage l’essence de teint! I had mixed feeling about this foundation, it went through a transition phase when it settled onto my skin-once warmed up on my skin I really liked it. For those of you with dry skin this is your foundation!

Absolutely gorgeous look. Interesting how it went through stages with your skin. It definitely seems like the skincare element has a reaction with the skin. I have been enjoying it and love the hydration it seems to give my skin. I did buy it when it was on offer so paid 40% less but would have paid full price as I wanted to try it.

I always like the idea of skincare in foundation but in reality I wonder how effective it is over SPF? The foundation looked very nice on you but I am not sure it is worth the price. I wonder how it compares with Vitalumiere or some of the new favourite foundations. Thank you Cheri for another interesting review.

Thanks for the review! Is this B10 your normal shade in Chanel foundations or you went a little lighter? I’m usually B30 but thinking in purchasing B20 because it seems darker.
Thoughts on this compared to the Chantecaille cushion foundation?
I've heard the chantecaille cushion foundation is hydrating and I also read that it has skincare benefits. So which one do you recommend? The sublimage or chantecaille? They both seem hydrating and both have skincare and both have light or medium coverage. What do you suggest and which one would you personally choose?

I will do that, you see it is Chanel exclusive. So who knows when/if department stores may receive it.
It looks nice on you, by the way, do you use any moisturizer and sunscreen before the foundation?

My skin looks the same colour as yours. I use B20 Beige in Chanel, but because I have a pinkness to skin, B22 Beige Rose is even better. You seem to have a pink tone but it’s hard to tell when looking at someone on screen ❤️
I tried a sample of BR12 but it was too dark for me and oxidized a lot. Too bad. But there are so many other foundations to choose from - so I can't complain.
I’m not sure if any foundation is worth that much $$ but I’d love to try it because it looks gorgeous & I have dry/mature but really good skin .. meaning the Le Teint skin tint usually is all I need. I don’t like too much coverage, honestly. It tends to be more aging, anyway, for anyone.
@@CHERIVOYAGE and if I wear any, that’s exactly the type of product I want to put on my face.. I was all set to get the color you used /until I saw how light it was/ so I think I’m B-21? Wish I could see it in store.. but I’m betting that’s my shade.. in the GA luminous concealer, I’m a good match for shade 4- thanks for this!
I had the sublimage le teint Ultimate Radiance - Generating Cream Foundation in a jar. They called that a crème.. I liked it But very expensive. This is a serum. I wonder if I notice the difference . I like that the skincare . That is why I bought the other one. But I use a lot of other products to help my skin. So is it worth the price?
I think you would match to B30 in Chanel. I will buy this foundation eventually because I adore Chanel and enjoy Sublimage. I was told by Nordstrom that they may not be receiving this. This is so disappointing. Getting to a boutique isn’t easy for me, maybe I’ll try Neiman Marcus or Sak’s.
I kno this video is2yrs old..but i jus picked up this foundation a couple weeks ago & i was wearing it & like u said wen 1st applied l loved it,but i did notice it separating in a few spots specially my 4head area,i did watch some other reviews trying 2 figure out the problem, i applied it with the brush,with my fingers & nothing seem 2 work but i didnt want2 return this foundation i wanted 2 make it work 4me..i found the review that said it needs a gripping primer bc its a serum foundation that moves aroun on the skin,so i tried it with the by terry hyaluronic hydra primer & it looked beautiful from the start & it stayed that way so if u stil have the problem but like the skincare benefits so u dnt want2 give up on this foundation u can try that primer or another 1 thats also gripping & it should solve the problem,it did 4 me

It is a really pretty finish, but too light in B10 as you mentioned. It is hard to buy online! Nice presentation.
@@CHERIVOYAGE I have noticed that too in many foundations that they just don't translate across the board. I would guess it depends upon the formula.

I think its worth $150 if ur over 40 with dry skin & i think its 1000% if ur over 50 with dry skin..but if ur under 40 my advice woud b save ur money & get the les beiges healthy glow hydration & long wear foundation or the #1 de chanel moisture foundation,2 me both r beautiful without the heavy price tag & look & last very similar 2 the sublimage foundation & wen ur over 40 u wil need it so save ur money & get the other wen ur young,jus my opinion &. Wat i woud do myself
