- Charles finishes fabricating a stove door for our batch box style rocket mass heater, and we get our hands on some clay to continue building the cob bench. Plus, we deal with the gullies carved into our driveway by summer rains, and Charles executes the final step in his plan to keep the plumbing lines under the yurt from freezing this winter.
We moved to rural Vermont to experience a new kind of life, and we found it! We arrived two years ago in a travel trailer and got to work setting up our own off-grid systems. Now we’re making a home for ourselves in a 30 foot Pacific Yurt, right here on the side of a mountain. Charles plans and executes our DIY projects, and flies the drone camera. Jill is our TH-cam videographer.
