jesus christ, that lilac colour of the door is amazing. i need that. wouldn't have painted the desk since i thought the slightly rough look of the unpainted wood made for a nice contrasting juxtaposition with all the candy colours but alas, the office still turned out nice :)

I'm a home decor enthusiast myself, and it pains me to live in a space that I can't paint, or alter, when I want to. I was constantly shopping for things that distracted from the not-so-great apt! I wanted options like stick on tiles on fiberboard to change out the kitchen tile, or brick surround. I'm also very interested in space saving storage, functional yet attractive storage, and using old things in new ways. Love your channel, you are quite amazing!

oh, so many videos in such a short time! so nice! And even though you ended up painting the tray with very pretty colour, I also liked the previous colour. Did you see there was a small spot of that green in your calender and one of the papers you ended up putting to the pin board?
Omg I had this painter who totally ruined an entire room, the walls were awfully painted, I had to have another painter and waste money buying paint again. Through all this painfull situation I was thinking 'why Hermione makes it look sooooo easy?' Everything you paint ends up being amazing and has a really professional touch.
You should diy your desk chair now. Take the rattan off and chalk paint it white and meanwhile, spray paint the chair legs in gold to match the lamp and other Knick knacks on your desk. When everything is dry, put it all back together. Promise, it will look a lot nicer when you’re done.
