    Awesome fishing bud! You sure know what you're doing! What time of year was this? What time of year is best to fish on the 50 bridge?

      Thank you Grand. 3rd week of June. I catch them all summer. I'm down here now and this year the bight is slow. Many stingray hookups destroying tackle.

    Seem to lose a lot of fish... Are you not setting the hook right?

      With over 300 being caught that week and maybe an 8% hook off rate, I'd say the hook set was dead on.

      Ahh, gotcha. The video didn't show 300 being caught, but showed more of the fish that got off so it was misleading. Great video!

    Do you need a light at night or is it lit up good enough with the street lights? Thanks!

    What's your rig setup and what type of line are you using? Thanks.

      70lb Braid. Ugly sticks in various sizes. various Shakespeare saltwater reels.

    Bigger ones are under the bridge. I use the 1oz white dual treble orange head gotcha on a 7' tica dolphin, Penn battle 2 with 50lb power pro....I've got no problem pulling up gators with that combo. I think I've walked past you...you're the only guy I've seen hang your pack on the pole like I do.

      also try upgrading the hooks to vmc's...those stock hooks are junk...if you get a nice 30" on and it runs they'll pop.

    Is there a certain part of the bridge that is best to fish at, i.e. on the east side of the draw bridge part where it is deep?

    • @teamfatkatzfishing6908
      @teamfatkatzfishing6908  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like the east side and then fish the north or south depending on your style of fishing for both in coming tide and out going tide.

      Different rods all in the ugly stick lineup. 70lb braid, 1oz gotcha plug with bucktail and single tail hook. I like the holographic with orange
      ed head.
